Chapter 7

- few hours later -

I lay my head on Josh's chest as he plays with my hair, he looks down at me and smiles

"Hey beautiful."

"Hey."

I must have dozed off.

"You feeling ok, you ribs I mean."

He asks.

"They hurt a little but that might be the way in laying."

I tell him.

I pick up my phone to check the time, its 6:30pm, mum will be home soon.

"Josh, you have to go. Mum will be home soon."

"Too late."

He says.

I look out the window and she's in the driveway.

We quickly get dressed.

I stress as I try to find a place for josh to hide, I hear mum walk up the stairs calling my name.

Josh just hides in my wardrobe.

Mum opens the door

"What are you doing Elissa?"

"I was picking my outfit for tomorrow."

I say.

"Ok, how's your ribs?"

She asks.

"You know, they hurt a little. So I might have a nap."

I tell her, hoping she'll get the idea to leave.

"Ok, I'll call you down when dinner is ready."

I nod my head as she closes the door.

Josh comes out.

"Looks like you can't use the front door."

I say.

"How am I going to get out?"

He questions.

"You could climb out the window, it's only a two story house."

I say, joking of corse.

"Ok."

He says opening the window.

"Josh, I was kidding."

I say.

"It's the only way."

He pleads.

"Fine but be careful."

I order josh.

He climbs down using the pipe that is next to my window.

When he's down, he blows me a kiss and I catch it than half runs, half walks to his house.

- next morning -

I get up and have a shower, I come out and choose my outfit.

A lime green dress with a black cardigan, black stockings and my full black vans.

I do my usual makeup routine and leave my hair down with a hair band in it.

I grab my bags and walk downstairs.

I yell because I'm too lazy to run over to him.
