Epilogue

~ 5 years later ~

"Have a good day at school sweety."

I say as I kiss Samantha on the cheek.

Josh kneels down in front of her and says

"Don't let anyone pick on you, ok? And remember not to be afraid to ask a question. Remember your manners, what are they?"

"Please and thank you."

She says in her childish voice.

"Very good, we will see you at the end of the day."

He tells her.

Samantha hugs us and runs through the gate.

She stands at the top of the hill and blows us a kiss, we both catch it and place our hands to our cheek.

Samantha jumps up and down in excitement and runs off to class.

We walk back to the car in silence.

Josh and I still haven't gotten married.

In these last few years josh has done 5 movies.

Journey to the mysterious islands,

The hunger games,

Paradise lost,

Catching fire and

Mockingjay.

Sam and I saw him every three - six months from when he stopped filming and before.

Josh has told his manager that he wants it to be quiet for a bit so we can get married and have a few more kids.

I look down at my stomach, I place my hand over it and I feel a tiny bump.

I know i should tell josh that I'm pregnant again but I'm a little worried because of the last time he reacted.

I decide that I will tell him.

"Josh?"

"Yeah."

He looks at me when we reach the car.

"I have something to tell you."

I begin.

"What is it?"

He ask concerned

"Are you sick?"

I laugh and say

"No, something different."

"Ok, tell me."

He says.

"Well you know how you wanted more kids?"

I ask.

"Yeah."

he says with a smile forming on his face.

"Well...., I'm pregnant."

I tell him.

I walks around the car to my side, he picks me up and swings me around.

"Congratulations."

Josh places his lips firmly against mine.

- that afternoon -

I wait patiently on the coach for Sam and josh to walk through the door, over and over I go through my head of what I will say to her.

"Mummy, mummy."

Bursts Sam through the door.

"Hi sweetie, how was school?"

I ask.

"Good."

She says excitedly.

"Daddy said you have something to tell me."

"I do, sit down."

I pat the spot next to me.

"How would you feel if you were a big sister?"

"More than anything."

Sometimes I think Sam is too mature for her age.

"Well what if I tell you that you are going to be a big sister?"

"Really?!"

She jumps up.

"Yes dear."

I hug her.

- 7 months later -

Today we welcome Tyler into our family.

I watch as my son and daughter meet for the first time.

I see the love that josh has for him, but that is where the happiness stops.

- 20 years -

I've been suffering from an un-curable illness since Samantha graduated from school.

It was hard for my family to adjust.

I can still get around and do things but days I can't do anything. Basically I have my good days and my bad days.

I know that I don't have much life left, I can feel my death coming.

My dream of josh and I growing old together has come to a halt.

Because we both know I won't make it and there's no denying.

The doctors say that my illness will kill me a day from which I was diagnosed or 20 years from then, it's been 7.

- 20 years later -

I can't believe I made it to 27 years without my illness killing me, the doctors say it's a miracle because no one has lived passed the 20 year mark.

It's been almost 30 years since I was diagnosed.

Josh holds his hand in mine while I lay on my death bed any day now, I will fall and I will become an angel.

"I love you."

Josh says and plants a kiss on my forehead.

"Oh josh, I love you too and I will see you again in heaven."

Are my final words to him.

I see the smile forming on his face and then everything goes black.

I vow that I will watch over josh until he joins me.

It is my dieing wish.
