#5 - Not The Aniversary You Hoped For

   "Hey babe", your boyfriend Luke Skywalker said, leaning against the doorway to your room. Damn, he is so fine. You thought to yourself. "Well hey yourself, Good Lookin", you said batting your eyelashes flirtatiously. Then you bit your lip, knowing very well the effect it had on Luke. He put his hand on your face and slowly pulled your lip free, then kissed your lips, lighter than a butterfly. "You know how I feel when you bit your lip", he said, breathing in your perfume. "Sorry I didn't realize", you lied. "You smell so nice", he whispered into your hair. You smiled. Luke made you so happy. He effected you in a way no one else ever has, and ever could. You were so happy to call this amazing man yours. "Luke, where are we going"? You asked, genuinely curious. "You'll see", he said winking. Hot damn. "Please just tell me", you pleaded while batting your eyelashes. "You'll see soon enough my beautiful princess", he said while poking your nose lightly. "Fine", you grunted, a little annoyed. Luke kissed you. Deeply, passionately, hungrily. You stayed like that for a little while, till you heard a noise. It was a knock. You went and opened the door. "Well hey there sexy", a voice greeted you. You gave him a nervous look. It was none other than Poe Dameron. "Poe what are you doing here"? You questioned him with a wicked look on your face. This was you and Luke's special night, and no one was going to ruin it, especially not Poe. He looked you up and down. You were wearing a short, tight black dress, with a high neck line, and short sleeves. You also had on massive heels. You would normally never dress like this, but it was a special night for you and Luke. It was your 2 year anniversary. That's right 2 full years! "WHY.ARE.YOU.HERE", you yelled at Poe. He smiled, "chill Y/N, I'm just here to tell you, that your sister is looking for you. She says it's really important and it can't wait. She says she's sorry to interrupt your anniversary, but she wouldn't do it, if it wasn't necessary". You looked confused, "what is it"? Poe looked bored, "I'm just the messenger". You looked down. Seriously Rey, out of all the nights?!?! "Fine. Where is she"? He walked out. "Follow me". You looked back at Luke, and grabbed his hand. "I'm sorry Luke", you whispered to him as you were walking. "It's okay honey, she's your sister", he said as he kissed your hand that he was holding. I love it when he does that. Poe stopped at a door, and did a weird kinda knock.

   Rey sat there in the dark. Tears flowing. You ran up to her, "Oh my god Rey! What's wrong"? You asked. She seemed calm. "I'm so sorry I ruined your evening", she said looking between me and Luke. You wiped the tears away with your finger. "It's okay Hun, just tell me what's wrong". She looked up, so sad, so scared. "Rey, what's wrong", you whispered to her. She frowned. "Guys, can you leave us", you said to Luke and Poe. You mouthed an 'I'm sorry' to Luke as he left the room. You were now alone. She talked. You listened. "Y/N, he took Finn! HE TOOK MY FINN!! He tried to take me. He says he's coming back for me. He says he's coming back for Luke, and then for you. He says he will kill everyone we love. Until he gets you". You covered your mouth. You had to stay strong. For Rey's sake. "Who Rey"? She shook as she said it "Darth Vader". Oh my god! He was here!! He tried to hurt Rey. "Oh Rey" , you said embracing her. You hugged her wile she cried. "I'm so so sorry". You kept whispering over and over "you don't deserve this". You stayed like that for hours. She looked up and smiled. "You look beautiful Y/N", she whispered. "Thank you Rey", you smiled. "I'm sorry I ruined you anniversary". You shook your head "you didn't". And in that moment you knew you had to protect her, protect Luke. "Rey, I'm going to take care of this. I will get Finn back", you said standing up. She liked confused "how"? "Don't worry about it, I'll be back". You kissed the top of her head and hugged her. You left. You went to find Luke. "I have to go". Luke looked nervous, "I'll come with you". You smiled, but you had to do this alone. You hugged him and kissed him. "Ill be back", you promised. And you would. You would come back, for Luke, for Rey. You would come back, once Darth Vader was dead. Once Finn was safe.

   You boarded the Millennium Falcon with your best friends, Han and Chewie. You looked back. This wasn't the kind of anniversary you had hoped for. That's okay. You and Luke would celebrate when you got back. "Ready guys", Han asked. Chewie made a roar sound. You looked at him "ready as I'll ever be". He squeezed your hand. This was it. This was to protect the people you loved most. You would be back....
