Lonely Girl and Skater Guy [[Chapter 17]]

Hyperventilating. Couldn't I do anything else? Hmm, maybe like RUN! My family hadn't noticed at all. They were to busy talking. Should I run or stay cool?

"Arizona, are you alright?" my mom asked when she noticed me. I was still staring at "him".

I looked away and tried to play it off, "I-I'm cool, I just need water." I looked back and he was gone. Gone? Where did he go?

"I'll go get you something, Arizona," Fredrick said leaving to the nearest vending machine. Fredrick is this big man. He pretty scary and has that don't-mess-with-me edge. He is so intimidating when you stare at him. He reminds me of a biker dude, but yet he's really nice. He came back with some apple juice. My breathing was back to normal. A hot one though.

"Let's get going," my mom announced. I kept looking around like a paranoid maniac.

When we got home, Dad was at work. Hailey and Fredrick are going to be staying in the next room as mine which was her old room.

His:

Damn Jarred and his damnness. He woke me up. So I was currently getting dressed. My hair was still wet from the shower.

"Hey, man," he greeted as he walked into my room.

"Why did you call so early?" I groaned.

"I called at three, not that early dude," he rolled his eyes. Liar it's, I looked at the clock, oh four.

"Whatever. Let's go."

Her:

"You got a dog!" my sister squealed. She started petting Ice.

"Yeah, we got him for Arizona," my mom replied.

"You get her a dog, but you never got me one," my sister did her famous pout.

"Yep," my mom said casually. She tried not to give in to my sister with her pout. Hailey gotten so many things that way, and I never got anything she got when she did that. Now she complaining about a dog?!

"Oh, Hai, you got a lot when you were my age. So shut up about it," I said moodily.

"Did you hear her mom? Are you gonna let her talk like that to me?" she complained.

My mom pretended she didn't hear any of us and continued watering her plants.

His:

Everyone was so busy. Isaiah had this family reunion; Daniel was babysitting his little sister, Ethan was sick, Travis was grounded for coming home high, Bryan was going on a date, and we didn't know where the hell Nick was.

"Let's go to Arizona's house," Jarred suggested.

"Alright," I had no objections for that.

Her:

"You got everything you wanted!" I shouted. It was so true. If Hailey wanted a new CD, Hailey would get it. If Arizona wanted a new CD, she couldn't because the spent the money towards Hailey's CD.

"Estás loca, member that time you wanted that huge black stuffed animal and you cried, and you got it!"

"Cállate, I was three! Freaking THREE! I had to give everything for you! All for you!" I shouted. My sister and I were face to face standing up arguing.

"¿Y qué?" Everyone was just watching us.

"And what? AND WHAT!?! Sabes qué! I wish you'd just leave! Go home." I yelled. She slapped me across the face. I glared at her. I was about to leap on her when the doorbell rang.
