DAY SEVEN

Five pairs of weary eyes wake up at practically the same time, 10:00am.

Soojae sits up and yawns, her fingers brushing off the ceiling of the top bunk, Raehee--who had snuck back in the girls' room some time last night--hears Soojae's bed squeaking and the girl yawning so she quickly awakens as well. "Good morning, Soojae," Raehee says with confidence, Soojae smiles. "Good morning, Rae," she says as both girls jump off the beds.

They walk out of their bedroom just as the boys's bedroom door opens revealing three sleepy yet happy figures. Jimin walks forward and quickly places his arms over both girls' shoulders making them giggle. "Morning ladies," he says with his usual peppy voice, the girls laugh as they all walk into the living room.

Each of the teens collapse onto the red couch and love seats, for once there's not a single hint of tension in the air, instead it is replaced by the sounds of loud conversations and enjoyable laughter.

Each of the five are trying to push aside the idea of leaving the Insane program, of course they want to leave the dorm but they're afraid that if they leave everything will go back to normal. Same disgusting facility, same disturbing people, same lack of freedom, same problems returning to haunt them. Somehow, being in this program has made each of them feel as if they're the normal ones in the facility. As if being in the program has somehow cured them. Impossible, but as the same time, possible.

They each grab a quick breakfast, they turn on the TV but they hardly watch it, they're too focused on their own conversation. It feels nice for them to talk to people who have experienced similar or even harsher probelms then they, since they all opened up they feel free. Free from their probelms. Free to be themselves. Free.

"Hey Soojae, can I talk to you for a second?" Jimin randomly asks in the middle of a deep conversation, he strares at the confused girl intently and she just simply nods and follows him to the hallway, he enters the boys' room but as she is about to walk in on her own, her hand in grabbed and she is hauled into the room by Jimin who quickly shuts the door.

She doesn't know what surprises her more, the fact that he dragged her into the room so harshly or the fact that he's still holding her hand. He leads her over to the two bottom bunk beds and they both sit across from each other in silence. At first, Soojae doesn't really understand what's going on but then she figures it out. He wants to talk to someone but he doesn't know how.

"So, what's up?" She tries to break the silence. He stares up at her but then looks away, she chuckles softly. "Come on, you're acting like Raehee used to act. Talk to me," she says and he tries to hide the smile that's fast to appear on his face.

"I-" he begins but the words that were at the tip of his tongue have disappeared into thin air, he doesn't know how to say it. She stares at him with more concern now, "Jimin," she pesters and touches his knee softly.

He takes a deep breath and opens his mouth but no sound comes out. She sighs deeply, "if you're not going to say anything then I'm just gonna go-"

She's cut off when his lips smack into hers, this is the second time this has happened but it feels just as magical as the first, fireworks everywhere. Their lips move in sink but Jimin quickly pulls away since he's finally gained the strength to say what he wanted to say all along.
