[Chapter 9]
Aiden is kissing me in a way I can't even start to describe. The kiss is passionate but sweet, hungry but at the same time caring. His right hand is on my left cheek, caressing it while the left one is grabbing me by the waist, pulling me closer. I kiss him back, more eager than I would probably admit but right at this moment, the only thing that matters to me is this instant.
The kiss makes my mind go blurry, making me forget about everything and concentrating on our lips only. I rest my arms around his neck, dragging him even closer if possible.
I don't know for how long we kiss but I'm pretty sure that the bell already rang indicating the start of class. Five, ten minutes? Maybe more. Who cares.
However, that's when I hear footsteps coming from the corridor so I quickly pull back, pushing Aiden away.
He looks dazzled for a moment, but his face changes into an impassive expression as soon as he hears someone coming as well. That's when realization hits me. What has just happened!? I don't even have enough time to process the situation before the principal sees us. "Hey, you two!" He calls while walking towards us.
"Mr. Jensen and..." He stares at me, waiting for me to introduce.
"Ms. Adams. Abby Adams." I nervously say.
"Correct, Ms. Adams. Why are you both here and not in class?" What now? Ohh, you know, we've just been kissing around for so long that we lost the sense of time so yeah, we pretty much skipped class for a make out session.
"Sorry, it was my fault." Aiden says. I look at him surprised, what is he doing? "I asked her to drive me home cause I wasn't feeling so good and since she lives with me I thought it was a good idea, but I'm better now."
Principal Morrison stares at him suspiciously for a second but seems to believe Aiden's lie in the end. "Okay, now if you're feeling better go back to your class, and Ms.Adams do the same."
"Yes sir." We both say.
I turn on my heels to walk to my class but then I notice Aiden walking by my side. "What are you doing? Go back to your class!" I hiss.
His face is determined and serious, so uncommon in him but at the same time so attractive. "Just to let you know, we're not done." His husky voice says. We stare at each other for a few more seconds, me wide-eyed and him indifferent before he stops abruptly in his tracks and turns around.
"So silly, my class in the other direction, haha!" He rubs his neck as he makes his way back to the principal's side.
They walk away, but I stay shocked in the same spot, staring at Aiden's back.

I couldn't stop thinking about the earlier incident. What did he mean with those words- no, more importantly, how do I act now in front of him!? I'm totally ashamed of myself. He's my father's girlfriend son goddammit, maybe even my soon to be step-brother!
