Dedication to DarknessAndLight for her book I Sold Myself to the Devil for Vinyls... Pitiful I Know because it's definitely one of the best books I've read on Wattpad so far. Also, for being so kind to us, her fans, and writing to our boards thanking us. Admirable.

[Chapter 6]

"Kids, so what are you planning to do in your last day of freedom?" Dad suddenly asks during breakfast.

Right, tomorrow I'm starting school again and so does Aiden, though he'll be a junior and I will be a senior. We're both seventeen now and have the same age, but that's because my birthday hasn't come yet.

I take a spoonful of cereal before answering. "I have the day off so I'm hanging out with Ree and Hannah, don't know where though."

My dad nods and turns his head to the grumpy person sitting beside me. "And what about you, Aiden?"

"I have basketball practice in an hour." He says as if nothing, but the truth is that it is something in Roosevelt High since Basketball is probably even more important than football in our school. Now, how could I not know who he was when I met him? The team is really popular, even though I have no clue about the sport, nor the rules either how it's played.

"That's great. What do you play as?" Dad asks him, and soon they start a conversation that I don't understand one bit. Thankfully, my phone vibrates showing a new message from Ree and I open it.

Come out. We're waiting in the car! xoxo

I get up from the stool and give a quick kiss on the cheek to my dad before leaving my bowl in the sink and walking out of the kitchen. I grab my purse and keys and head outside to Ree's car.

"Hey girls," I say as I get into the back seat.

"Wow, you're living in freaking heaven! Is it as awesome in the inside?" Hannah squeals excitedly.

"Han, you've already been in there, remember?" Ree reminds her, rolling her eyes.

"Duh, I know. But I barely remember anything from that night."

"And what does Liam say about that?" Ree teases.

"Nothing, since he doesn't remember anything either."

"So, where are we going?" I ask, but soon regret it, because those two evil best friends look at each other and then turn to smirk at me. Uh oh.

"First, we're going to get some coffee and then..." Hannah trails.

     "Then what?" I ask suspiciously.

She grins. "We're getting you a boyfriend!"

     "No way!"

"Yes way!" They both say, and before I have time to process the information and try to get out of the car, Ree starts the engine and drives out of my street. Darn it.

Fifteen minutes later, Ree puts up the car and I climb down to walk into a nearby Starbucks. In our way here they had decided that I'll be the one to go buy the drinks while the two of them waited inside the car because "It's unnecessary to go the three of us when it's so hot out there." Lazy butts. The cafe is full, so I wait for another ten minutes until is my turn to order.
