Chapter 8

The next few months went by quickly for Lilli Soergel. Oh yeah, soon to be Lilli Lerman. She smiled to herself as she wandered through a dress shop. They had decided everything already. Lilli and Logan were going to move into the new remodeled part of the house next week. 

They had some furniture picked out, and were going to get some more. They were gonna decorate and get baby Alexander's room ready. He was due in two months. After the baby is born and the house is done and everything is restored to normality, they were going to get married. Married! 

Lilli hadn't planned to, it totally took her by surprise when Lerman proposed. But how could she say no? They were going to be a little family. At first Lilli had been extremely embarrassed. She didn't want to be a mom. Or a wife. It sounded old. But she liked the sound of Logan Lerman, her husband. Lilli, Mrs. Logan Lerman. She could get used to it.

She ran her hand over a tanish, satin dress with a bow on the front and the skirt trailed behind whoever wears it. Lilli smiled, she would have to bring Lerman back to this store!

Lilli waited on a hospital bed, and waited for the stupid kid to be born. She had been getting nervous, she thought her stomach was way to big, but her doctor said it was just a big baby. Lilli thought the doctor was off her rocker.

She decided once Zander, er, Alexander, was born, she would hand him over to Lerman and he could take care of it for the week. Some mommy she was.

Lilli opened her eyes and looked around the room. Lerman was asleep like the dead, (or however you say that phrase,) and the tubes were stuck in her arms. Again. It was almost like the first time she met Lerman, almost. "Lerman." She called softly. 

"Mmahh..." He moaned sleeping. 

"Lerman!" She said sharply. 

"Wah!" He jumped out of his chair. "Ninja!" 

Lilli laughed. "Calm down. Where's Zander?" Lerman rubbed his eyes and looked sheepish. "Where's the baby?" Lilli asked again. 

"Yeah about the baby..." Lerman started. "It's really a funny story, I mean you'll be rolling on the ground in a matter of minutes."

Lilli rolled her eyes. "Lerman."

"Yeah?"

"Get to the point!" 

He flipped open his phone and said something into it, it sounded like 'bring em' in." Lilli waited nervously "the doctor we visited was a fake. She didn't know what she was doing." Lerman said 

Two doctors came in with cribs. "So she was right. Here's Zander.." He said picking him up. "But she was wrong." Lerman picked up another bundle. "Here's-"
