Chapter 13

Lilli had seen on T.V. people cut themselves to make them feel better. She had never understood why, but she figured maybe I just need to do it myself. Lilli held a little Swiss army knife over her arm/wrist area. She closed her eyes, and suddenly felt a fiery pain shoot up her arm. "Yeeow!" Lilli shrieked and chucked the blade at the wall. 

She opened her eyes and examined her arm. Nothing, there wasn't the smallest mark. Lilli giggled at her own stupidity, the blade hadn't even touched her arm. It was all her imagination. Lilli sucked in a deep breath of relief. 

All of a sudden, there was a huge crash up stairs, followed by a scream, a scream from a babie's lips. Lilli jumped off the bed and rocketed upstairs. All her adrenaline kicked in when she heard the distressed screams from upstaires. All she could think: My. Babies. In. Danger. 

Lilli was in the nursery in a matter of seconds. Glass shards were scattered across the floor. The crib bars were lowered and the night-stand was toppled over. A little line of blood spread across the floor. "No!" Lilli screamed rushing to the window. "No! No!" She sobbed. Nobody heard her. "N-" Lilli started but she was pushed out the window. She fell through the air, and passed out on her way down. She never heard the tortured wails of her children.

"How much do you think we can get?" A man's voice whispered. 

Lilli opened her eyes and found she was in a dark room. Two guys were huddled close to each other and a women was sitting in a corner her back facing Lilli. The women was rocking a sleeping baby. Lilli closed her eyes trying to remember. The babies had been kidnapped. Lilli tried to follow, but someone stuck up behind her and pushed her  out the broken window. 

Lilli remembered a few seconds when she had been shoved into a car and then later (maybe 3 hours or so..) being dragged back out. She also remembered being strapped to a table..........Lilli's eyes flew open and saw she had been chained to a table. 

But suddenly, a door flew open and Lilli closed her eyes to appear sleeping. "Why is she here?" A voice thundered. "How will the plan ever work if she knows our location? Do you morons have the slightest bit of brains?" 

"O-f-f c-course." Another voice stuttered. 

"Get rid of her!" The loud voice shouted and slammed the door behind him. Lilli opened her eyes and saw a figure looming over her. "No!" she screamed but was whacked on the head.
