Neither irony or sarcasm is argument. ~Samuel Butler
Luke's POV
"You talked about your old school," Clark said as we exited the classroom. "Um.. Where was it?"
"Just a couple of miles away. Penston Academy, is what it's called." I told him.
"Isn't that a dancing school?" Clark asked and I nodded. He smiled. "No way, you're a dancer?" I nodded once more, but shyer. I thought Clark was going to give me hell for it. I was waiting for him to look at me, shake his head, cuss me out, and walk away. But instead he looked excited. "That's amazing!"
"A-Amazing..?" I mumbled.
"You have to be super good to even get an audition to get into the school, I bet you're fantastic!" Clark smiled, his smile faded slightly as he cleared his throat. Running his hands through his dark hair. "Sorry.. I hope I didn't come off really.. Weird."
"No, you're fine." I shook my head slowly. "I was just expecting you to react the opposite of what you did."
Clark shrugged his shoulders. "I wasn't going to tell you it was weird or anything. After all, feel free to engage in activities you feel passionately about, right?"
"Yeah." I laughed lightly.
"Hey Luke, who's this?" Nala asked as she ran up to us, she gestured towards Clark and even though I thought Nala was kind of short - in comparison to me at least - she was taller than Clark.
"This is Clark, he's new. Clark this is Nala, she's nice." I told the two.
"Nice to meet you Clark!" Nala smiled wide and Clark looked confused. "It's the accent, isn't it? Straight outta Brooklyn kid! My whole family talks like this."
Clark laughed lightly at Nala, of course he would be a little shy about this girl. Nala was very loud, that was different for him, but he looked happy either way.
"You can come sit with us at lunch, you'll have a lot of fun." Nala smiled. She patted Clark's back before turning to me. "Gotta dash, Luke and co. Buh-bye!"
"She's funny." Clark said once Nala ducked into her classroom.
"Funny?"
"She's fun." Clark turned to me with a smile. "She's super energetic."
"I wish I had that kind of energy." Clark and I said at the same time before turning to one another. I laughed and Clark shook his head, as if he disapproved.
"Man that's an annoying sound." I stopped when I could see Luna standing in front of us, Michael and Calum on each side of her. She was sucking on a lollipop - I wished she would choke. Clark took a couple of steps behind me, as if I would protect him.
"Clark that won't save you." I told him.
"S-Sorry.." He stuttered, just above a whisper.
"Who's your friend, Luke? Who's the freak?" Luna laughed as she walked up to me and pushed me to the side as she looked at Clark.
"U-Uh.." Clark choked out.
Michael walked around so he was standing behind Clark. He leaned down to his ear and whispered, "Boo." Clark actually looked like he jumped a little bit. Calum stood back though, I noticed it almost immediately that he looked confused.
I could see Clark's shaking body and didn't quite know what to do with the entire situation. I didn't want to make anything worse by intervening, but I didn't want to sit here and watch Clark be terribly frightened by the entirety of the situation.
"Luna!" I heard a hissing noise and could see Ashton walking up the hallway with Lee. "What are you doing, who is this?"
Luna turned her head to him, edging him to answer the question.
"C-Clark.." The boy swallowed hard.
"He's Luke's buddy." Luna said as she folded her arms.
"Leave him alone." Ashton rolled his eyes. "I swear you get worse at following instructions every day."
"Seriously, Ashton?" Luna huffed.
"I said to leave Clark alone," Ashton said as he pushed the boy a few steps backwards before raising his eyes to me. "Take him to the girl's bathroom, since there's where he wants to be so badly." Ashton looked me up and down and scoffed before Luna smiled wide and stepped in front of me. Michael and Calum stood on each side of me.
Clark stood there wide eyed, as if he had no idea what to do. But before he could answer, Ashton grabbed his arm and dragged him down the hallway.
I closed my eyes and let out a sigh before I was ultimately pushed through the hallway and into the ladies restroom. Luna was the only one to follow me in there. Girls immediately stepped out of her way and she pushed me into the handicap stall before pushing my head into the toilet.
"I have a few other things for you when we're done." Luna laughed as she went back for it. She lifted my head up and held my face as she looked like she was drawing on my face with lipstick.
"If you want to be a girl so badly," Luna started. "You won't need this." Luna stood up, threw the lipstick tube onto me before taking her heeled shoe and kicking my privates. I let out a squeak as she walked away. Leaving me covered in toilet water, in pain, and lipstick smeared on my face.
A couple of girl's peaked their heads in the stall, not sure what to do. A couple snickered, a couple exchanged glances with their friends.
"Well out of the way, idiots." I heard a sigh and watched a couple of girls being pushed back as a mean looking dark-haired brunette entered the stall. "How does a guy like you get pushed around by a girl like Luna, is my question?" She scoffed before taking out a wipe and washing my face before having me stand up and practically limp out of the stall. She took a hairdryer and plugged it into the wall. I was not about to ask why she carried around a hairdryer, after all it seemed pretty useful to me. Instead I watched as she shook her head slowly.
"What's your name?" She asked.
"Luke." I muttered.
"Now get the hell out of the girl's room, Luke." She scoffed. "You don't belong in here, freak."
I was ultimately confused, but nodded. If she wanted to help me but cuss me out the entire time, I had no problem with that. She was better than most of the people I had interacted with.

Hm..Not sure what happened here but Y.O.L.O. Also I love Clark, okay? Alright. Glad we've had this discussion.
Fun fact: Penston Academy is a real place, it's just a vocal school, not a dancing school.
Also, Penston is my last name xD
