It felt like I was swinging. Like in midair just swinging back and forth. When I opened my eyes my suspicions were correct. I was dangling from the ceiling with my hands tied above my head and my mouth duck taped. I was looking down at the ground aware of the ten men surrounding me. The place smelled of gasoline and sweat.

“Avery where are you!” My dad yelled in my head.

“I don’t know. I blacked out.” I replied finally looking around. Earning creepy grins from the men around me.

“Show me.” He demanded.

“Dad that would blow the plan-“

“I DON’T CARE DAMNIT SHOW ME.” I could hear his feet pounding the ground. I don’t know if other wolves can do it. But my dad, uncle and I can. See when he says show me, he means show him where I am. I can open our mind link to where he can see everything I am seeing. It comes with a price though my wolf needs to have complete control and her eyes glow a fiery red. That ain’t human and as soon as I did it everyone in the room gasped and with silent.

“I’m on my way. Hang in there Buddha.” He replied. If he only knew that I was actually hanging.

“WITCH!” One of the men yelled.

“Burn her!” Another yelled. Really? Did they really think I was a witch? Let alone did they still believe in witches? A man who seemed to be in charge of the other men stepped forward.

“You come here and you kill our leader. He was our friend, our savior, or brother, my father! What do you have to say for yourself witch?” He said walking over to be and snatching the duct tape off of my mouth.

“He needed to die.” I said looking at the hatred burning in his eyes he walked closer to me than he should have.

“I will watch you burn.” He said sinisterly.

“Like your father is burning in hell.” I told him wrapping my legs around his neck and snapping it.

“KILL HER!” Someone from the crowd of men screamed. Then they threw a torch and a circle of flames engulfed me. Well that’s where the smell of gasoline was coming from. The heat from the flames was getting hotter, the flames were licking my legs. I have never been set on fire before. I never want to ever be set on fire again. The flames were now up to my chest, burning my skin off. My wolf was howling in my head and I started screaming. The pain was unbearable I couldn’t think straight. Then I heard loud growls and I knew they were my dad’s. I opened my eyes and saw his massive wolf attacking the crowd of me. I had to get down or I would die. I started swinging back and forth hard. I just need a little leverage to break the rope. I could smell my burning flesh, every swing burning more. I finally took one last swing and broke the rope throwing myself out of the flames and hitting the cold concrete. My wolf was whining in my head she wasn’t healing me. She was too weak. There was blood everywhere, my blood was everywhere. Black dots were clouding my vision as I watched my dad rip out the last man standings throat. I was in too much pain to keep my eyes open. They drifted shut.

It felt like I had been sleeping for hours before my eyes would finally open, I looked around and noticed I was in my room back at my uncle’s house.

“When did I get here?” I asked out loud. I tried to remember what happen and I could only remember those bastards setting me on fire.

I got up and walked out my room that was located in the basement and up the stairs into the kitchen. My dad was sitting with his back towards the door and my Uncle Austin was sitting with a newspaper infront of his face. Both of them completely oblivious to me standing there. I walked over to the fridge and grabbed the last beer and popped it open and took a swig.
