As we made our way down the hall towards the infirmary I was fully aware of the people scattering out of our way and the looks of terror on their face, and it would have been funny but give I was trying to carry a seven foot three hundred and fifty pound man and I was barley 5'3 wasn't very entertaining to me. I was in no mood to explain myself to any one address all of the whispers, I was in too much pain and losing too much blood. I hadn't realized all of my injuries until I started to stumble. My neck was throbbing I could feel the air whooshing pass the open cuts on my stomach and back, looking up at Amir there was no evidence he had taken a beating. Maybe internally yeah but outside his face was a bit swollen his nose was bleeding there was a cut right under his eye and I'm pretty sure he had a broken leg.
We had finally made it to the doors leading into the infirmary, walking through into the sterile white walls all eyes were on us everyone had stood frozen on the spot.
"He needs a doctor." I said looking around as they still stoop gaping at us. "NOW!" I yelled. Forcing them into action two women rushed over to us taking him out of my hands and practically dragging him further into the makeshift hospital. I went to turn and walk out and ran into Alex.
"You need to see a doctor." He said reaching out to steady me but I backed away from his hands. He was the last person I wanted be near.
"I'm fine." I said stepping around him.
"For what it's worth I'm sorry, about this whole thing. I didn't know it would turn out like that." That was the wrong thing to say to me.
"Really? How did you think it would turn out Alex I really want to know how in the hell you thought it would turn out because I was sure one of us was gonna leave in a body bag and I can tell you right now it wasn't going to be me." I said taking a step closer from him as he backed away from me.
"You need to see a doctor." He said swallowing hard. I took a step back and looked at everyone starring at us and looked at Alex, "I'll pass." I said turning and walking out of the infirmary. My dad and Austin were walking down the hallway toward me once I made my way out of the doors.
"You're losing a lot of blood kid," Austin said getting closer to me, but I already knew that. I was swaying from side to side I really needed to get home so I could heal without being questioned but the longer I stayed here the more blood I lost and the more blood I lost meant the less energy I would have to actually pull myself back together, literally.
"Just get me home." I said before falling forward into my dad's arms, groaning from the pain. I could hear him growling as he picked me up and he started running through the house. I kept my eyes shut willing myself to stay unconscious and so I didn't have to see any of the faces being thrown our way. I heard the door open of the pack house open and then we stopped.
"Oh shit." Austin whispered from beside us.
"Austin," My dad said in a low growl.
"I'll deal with the kid, my trucks around back." He said. Then I smelled him. Clayton was there and if they thought having him there during the fight would have been bad if he sees me we are gonna have a bigger problem than me being able to heal myself. I felt my dad change directions and run the opposite way.
"You still with me kid." He asked. I peeked one of my eyes open and gave him a weak smile. His eye brows were knotted together and his grip on me tightened when we heard things crashing to the ground.
"WHERE IS SHE!" I could hear Clayton yell and an involuntary whimper left my lips. We heard another loud crash and then I heard a pair of feet. We finally found the back door and busted through it. We found Austin's truck and dad open the back door and slid me in and shutting it turning around and facing the back door. To our surprise Austin came through running like he was being chased.
