So here we are sitting in the living room getting ready to leave for this thing called a pack house. To say that I was happy about this was a long shot. My Uncle got a call this morning about a possible rogue attack last night around the time that I was running. Possible because they never caught the wolf and they didn’t pick up a scent. But there was something else.

“You wanna tell us what happen last night?” The asked standing infront of my with their arms crossed.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I said scratching my head. So maybe something happen last night that I didn’t tell them about. But that does not mean I was gonna tell them now.

“Buddha your tell is showing. What did you do?” Uncle asked me.

“I didn’t really do anything.” I said looking away.

“Spit it out Avery.” My dad told me with a stern look.

“Okay so maybe a wolf tried to stop me. And maybe I bit him.” I told them sheepishly.

“YOU BIT HIM!” They both yelled.

“Well yeah he got in my way so I made him submit.” I told them rolling my eyes. “It’s not a big deal I mean he jumped out infront of me and he wanted a fight, I didn’t so I bit him on haunches and made him submit and continued my run.”

They let out an exasperated breath and ran their hands over their faces.

“Do you know what this means?” Austin asked me.

“That they need better fighters?” I asked innocently.

“No. You’re gonna apologize.” He told me.

“NO WAY!” I said throwing my arms up in the air.

“Yes way! You took down the Alpha’s son! You don’t do that!”

“Then I’m really not apologizing! I don’t know exactly what that means but that kid was douche.” I replied.

“He was protecting the border!” He told me.

“From what?” I asked insulted. I knew what he was going to say.

“From you.” My dad answered. I wasn’t out for blood yesterday I just needed to cool off.

“I wasn’t going to hurt anyone.” I asked lowering my voice.

“They didn’t know that Avery. You can’t just go around making other wolves submit to you. That’s not cool, especially if a girl does it that hurts his pride. You’re gonna have to apologize.” Austin told me.

“ Fine.” According to him the Alpha knows how frequent my dad and I have been to my Uncle’s. Not wanting to cause an issue all the other times he never asked us to join the pack. But since we were living with my uncle, to not complicate anything and cause problems my dad agreed to join it. The town my uncle stayed in was all werewolves all in the same pack. I really have no idea how this pack things works. We have never been in one. It’s just been me and my dad. After an agreement that I wouldn’t “attack” anymore wolves and that I would apologize we were on our way to the pack house. Thirty minutes later we had pulled up to this huge house that smelled like 80 wolves lived there. My Uncle led us into the house and to this office. Not before being starred at my every person we passed. We were sitting there, well I was sitting they were standing behind me on both sides. Then in walked this guy no wait, this man that just screamed I’m in charged.
