"hey yoongi. how was your day? oh, and did you receive the pickup line i gave you today? i'm pretty sure i placed it somewhere inside your bag." hyejin grinned.

yoongi sighed, "if you were a fruit, you'd be a fineapple." he remembered exactly what she wrote.

hyejin clapped her hands, "you saw it, then! did you like it—"

yoongi cut her off immediately, "no. i did not like it at all. ugh, just— please stop it for god's sake, they're gross." he said, emphasizing some of the words.

hyejin pouted but grinned cheekily right after, "but doesn't it brighten up your day though? like don—"

"no." he deadpanned.

"well i guess i'll have to send better pickup lines then. what do you think?" hyejin beamed.

"did you go to a cafe yesterday?" yoongi asked, ignoring the comment she gave a while ago.

hyejin frowned, "i did, but how'd you know? i was alone and i don't remember telling anybody i went there. wow, seriously though, how did you know? i never knew you're that great at guessing things." she chuckled.

"if so, then why did you cry?" yoongi asked, jotting down notes from the teacher which is something he rarely does.

hyejin froze, her expression unreadable, "i... didn't."

"stop acting dumb. i was at the same cafe yesterday. i saw you crying." yoongi said, not taking his eyes off his notebook.

"w-what? oh, now that i think about it, i was at a restaurant yesterday, not a cafe. right, i was at a restaurant. gosh. why is it so hard for me to differentiate a cafe and a restaurant?" she laughed nervously.

yoongi looked at her unconvinced, opening his mouth to say something but closed it right after. he sighed, "you know what? forget it."

it's not like i care or something. it's none of my business anyway. he thought.

"but that still doesn't mean that i'm stupid enough to believe your words." he uttered, rubbing his eyes in sleepiness.

"i'm telling t-the truth! why don't you believe me? that girl from yesterday w-wasn't me! i was at a restaurant with my.. m-my mom! yeah, i was with my mom! we were celebrating my birthday! well, my birthday's supposed to be the next week b-but we just decided to celebrate it yesterday. here, i said it! s-satisfied?!" she blabbered, flustered.

yoongi yawned, "you should practice more with your acting."

hyejin fiddled with her fingers nervously and glared at yoongi, "i said i'm telling the truth, you dummy. what the hell is your problem? just believe in me, will you? ugh."

"whatever. i don't care. now shut up before i kick you in the face. i'm gonna sleep." he stretched for a while before laying his head on the table and closing his eyes.

hyejin watched him and scoffed, "unbelievable." she muttered.
