"hyung, do you want to come over to my house tonight?" jimin asked yoongi.
"what for?" yoongi yawned.
"homework. we can help each other out, you know." jimin replied.
"let me go with you guys!" taehyung fit in the middle of the two.
"wait, are you guys taking the bus home?" taehyung asked.
"when have we not?" yoongi muttered.
"okay then. i'll join the two of you." taehyung beamed happily.
"we're stopping at my house, okay?" jimin uttered as the boys entered the bus.
"okay." the other two chorused, only taehyung's voice was much louder.
"hey. that's supposed to be my seat." yoongi complained, pointing to the seat taehyung sat at.
"just this once, please??" he begged.
yoongi rolled his eyes and went to the seat behind the two of them, "whatever."
not long after, a familiar girl entered the bus and gasped, "you brought your friends with you! i knew it!"
hyejin then rushed to the empty seat beside yoongi's making him groan loudly.
taehyung looked at the girl in confusion before turning to jimin, "who is she?"
"yoongi's seat mate in class." jimin whispered and taehyung nodded his head.
"go seat somewhere else." yoongi sighed.
"but why?! i just wanna talk to you guys. so, you're the one who peed in his pants, right? what's your name? and i know you, you're jimin." she said, referring to the two guys in the front seats.
"i never p-peed in my pants." taehyung mumbled, his cheeks tinted pink.
hyejin chuckled, "there's no use in lying to me. so, what's your name? mine's hyejin. i'm yoongi's friend, if you don't know."
"i never said we're friends." yoongi narrowed his eyes on hyejin but she ignored him.
taehyung sighed, hesitating on whether to tell her his name or not but gave up in the end, "i'm tae-taehyung."
"nice to meet you. so, what are we supposed to talk about now?" hyejin beamed.
"nothing. let's just shut up for now." yoongi answered almost immediately.
"why would we? it would be boring, right? i don't wanna get bored on—"
"you know what? let's just do what yoongi hyung says. we'll play a game. the rule is simple: don't talk. the one who breaks the rule and loses will buy the others free drinks." jimin suggested, knowing that hyejin will most likely lose the game.
hyejin frowned and was about to protest when yoongi spoke up, "the game starts now."
then it was quiet after that. hyejin pouted and crossed her arms, eyeing the other boys who were on their phones but weren't making any sound.
jimin: don't worry. she'll lose anyway, with that mouth of hers.
taehyung: she's eyeing us as if we're her prey. it's creepy.
yoongi: we'll get free drinks soon.
yoongi: yay.
"are we allowed to use our phones?" she blurted out without thinking.
the three boys looked up, jimin grinning widely, "you lose. you owe us free drinks."
"yay!" the other two chorused, only taehyung's voice was much louder.
"what? hey, this is unfair! i was only asking a question! you guys never said that phones are allowed to be used! so i was just confirming it. give me another chance, please. i'll follow the rules and not make a single sound. let's have another round, shall we? i'll play fair and square this time. i promise." hyejin begged.
"you lost already. we're not repeating the round. you're buying us drinks later." taehyung grinned.
"oh, let's invite the other guys to join us! they'll get free drinks too! and namjoon can help us with our homework at my house!" jimin suggested.
hyejin opened her mouth to speak, "this is so unfair! hey, i—"
"we'll get off at our stop and you'll buy drinks for us and the rest of our friends. after that you may go home. end of story." yoongi said in a monotone voice.
hyejin groaned, "you know what? fine! but earlier you said something about doing homework at your house. can i join? pretty please? i mean, i also have my homework to do so we can help each other out. what do you say?" she asked jimin hopefully.
"no." the three said in unison.
