yoongi walked around the hallways of the school that morning with jimin beside him.

"oh, and have you heard? jungkook said taehyung dyed his hair to blonde or something." jimin said, laughing out loud while yoongi on the other hand only hummed in reply.

"what's so funny about him bleaching his hair?" yoongi raised his brows.

jimin cleared his throat, "nothing."

"oh my gosh, look, they're so hot." a girl somewhere near them gushed.

"i know, right?" another one said.

yoongi rolled his eyes, "these girls are pissing me off."

yeah, they're both the school's heartthrobs if you haven't known yet.

jimin pouted, "why? they're cute."

"oh my god, look at jimin!"

"he looks so cute when he pouts! someone please help me, i'm dying!"

yoongi sighed, "you call that cute? oh my god, please."

they both eventually reached the lockers and once jimin opened his locker, floods of letters came rushing out, making him chuckle while picking them up.

yoongi sighed, "you're gonna read them?"

jimin shrugged, "why not? they're better than listening to the class anyway."

yoongi nodded, opening his locker and just like jimin's, letters came rushing out.

unlike jimin though, he picked them all up and threw them into the dustbin, earning a few 'awh's from fangirls around them.

jimin chuckled and handed him a small note once he returned.

"what?" yoongi asked.

"you missed this one. it was stuck somewhere inside your locker." jimin said.

"just throw it away." yoongi shrugged.

"oh, come on! read it, you might not know what's inside." jimin grinned.

yoongi sighed and snatched the note away from jimin.

"just this once." he muttered, unfolding the note.

'my favorite letters in the alphabet are u r a q t.
-khj'

"what the fuc—"

"that's cheesy. but who's khj?" jimin interrupted, peeking inside the note.

"no idea at all. i don't get why girls like sending stupid letters." yoongi sighed, throwing the note away.

jimin frowned, "that's so cruel of you, yoongi."

yoongi shrugged, taking his books for the day and walked to the class, leaving jimin behind.

he sat at his place and sighed when he heard an annoyingly familiar voice beside him.

"good morning, yoongi! did you have a great morning? oh, and did you receive the note i gave you? have you seen it? well, have you? i put it somewhere inside your locker. so did you see it?" the girl beside him blabbered.

yoongi turned to look at her, "it was pretty fine until you came. and what note do you mean, idiot? i threw every letters i received."

the girl pouted, "well, that's a shame. i wrote you a pickup line, just so you know. i was hoping that you'd read it."

yoongi frowned, "pickup line? you mean you're that khj?"

the girl's face immediately brightened, "yes, that! you read it, then!"

yoongi thought for a while, "hyejin. then your surname must be?"

"it's kim. kim hyejin. and oh, i didn't actually expect you to remember my name. that's a surprise. but i'm happy you did, because you seemed to not listen to me every time i talk to you. seems like you do." the girl chirped.

yoongi rolled his eyes, "shut up. next time don't send me any more notes."

the girl grinned, "okay. oh, and i almost forgot about yesterday. i told you that i'm gonna make it up to you since you helped me, right? do you have time after school? maybe we could grab some pizza, or maybe pasta or burgers. oh, what about steak? that's better! what do you thi—"

"i'm sorry but i'm not a very big fan of food. and i have better things to do after school other than that." yoongi shrugged, bringing down the mood.

"oh, i see." she said curtly which surprised yoongi. he'd never seen her talk so shortly before. but he didn't really mind, since he felt rather happy about it.
