As soon at the bell rings to go home, I immediately head out to my baby... I mean my car. Same thing, right? I promised I'd meet Grayson at this place called YoFro. He said it's a frozen yogurt place with "yogurt that will make me die from goodness" whatever that means. I glance to my left and see a beautiful mustang being unlocked. As soon as I look to see the owner, my body is filled with anger.
"Ah, I see you're getting my brother to like you already. Frozen yogurt, hm?" Ethan asks. I roll my eyes and open my car door. "It's not a surprise to me. Any fan would know that he loves frozen yogurt, and that's one step closer to..."
"Can you please shut up? I don't like you," I interrupt him closing my car door. I sigh and blast a local radio station. It's playing something by Adele. I'm not quite sure the name. I look down at my phone after I start up my car, typing in the address to the frozen yogurt place.
It takes ten minutes to get there. That's not too long considering traffic and this city are so big. The yogurt place sits at an intersection in a more secluded part of town. I spot Grayson immediately. Aaron is beside him, with earphones in.
"Excuse Aaron's rudeness; he just loves listening to music," Grayson apologizes and I laugh. "Okay, so do you want to get some frozen yogurt first?"
"Sure, I'm kind of starving," I admit. My stomach growls to confirm and Grayson just busts out laughing.
"Well in that case," Grayson says, pulling open the door to the shop, "it's my treat."
"Dude, you're paying for me?" Aaron asks graciously, a huge smile spread across his face. Grayson rolls his eyes at him.
"Of course not. You're a dude. I don't have to pay for you," Grayson answers as we all step inside. The shop is very small and cozy. I like it. "Get whatever you want."
I head over to the self-serve machines and head for the one flavor I know I'll love. Chocolate cheesecake. I don't want Grayson to spend a lot of money on me so I don't fill it too much.
"Oh come on, that's weak," Grayson comments next to me. My cup is only just barely filled to the edges while his is threatening to spill over any minute. "Go on, spend my money." That's the thing, though. I really don't want to. To make him a little bit happier, I pile on the sprinkles and cookie crumbs.
When we are all satisfied with our frozen yogurt, we choose a secluded table in the back of the building. Grayson and Aaron both immediately scarf down their yogurt while I take mine a spoonful at a time.
"Wow, you were right, Grayson. This is really good," I say as I scoop another spoonful of deliciousness into my mouth. It isn't only really good, it's heavenly.
"I knew you'd like it," he grins. "And please, call me Gray. It doesn't bother me. Anyways, how was your first day of school?"
"Well, to be completely honest, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be," I admit. "I thought that I'd be by myself all day and hate everyone. It wasn't like that at all. I actually made some friends."
"I'm really glad you enjoyed today," Grayson says.
"I wouldn't have enjoyed it without you helping me out this morning," I tell him.
"No problem," he grins. This is where I take a chance to get a good look at Grayson. He wears a beanie to cover his hair, along with a black t-shirt and jeans. I haven't gotten a good look at him today, and at this point, I realize that he's actually really attractive.
"Oh my gosh, get a room you two," Aaron mutters beside us. I look down, blushing.
"Let's go to the park first. That's one of the key spots of this town," Grayson offers and I nod. Anything to hide my face better.
