*GERARD'S P.O.V*
A man with charcoal coloured hair moved out of the way of the large present, wide brown orbs observing the room. They land on Frank and he smiles.
"Hey kiddo," he says in a light, airy voice as he puts the present down, ruffling up Frank's hair. His hands find the edge of his waist, resting there as he watches Linda walk out of the kitchen.
"Frank," She says almost unsurely, frozen in spot. He smiles widely and walks over to her, abandoning the open door to give her a one-sided squeeze.
Frank and his mother both seem equally stunned to see this man in their household, reason unidentified. 'Frank' turns to me and locks eyes, looking for any clue to who I was. He smiles.
"And who are you?" He asks as Frank rushes over to my side. He studies the way Frank stands close to me, almost defensively. The man looks amused by all of this.
"Gerard, Gerard Way," I say, almost nervously. My cheek pulls up to one side, giving a small smirk. I can feel Frank's eyes on me as the man gives me one back.
"Frank Iero, senior I guess. Either way, Frankie's dad." He said with a grin, extending a welcoming hand. I shake it briefly with my own smile. "I'm happy to meet one of Frank's friends, he didn't have much before,"
I ignore a small 'dadddd!' Whine from an unpleased Frank, clearly embarrassed and correct Mr.Iero. "Boy, as in boyfriend," I say, giving him a toothy grin.
Mr.Iero looks shocked at first, then he looks amused.
"Frank!" He exclaims as Frank plasters his face against my arm. "Why didn't you tell me you had a boyfriend! That's amazing!" He laughs a bit. I beam.
"Maybe, if you have seen Frank for the past 2 years, you would have known about Frank's current life, you no good son of a-"
"Mum!" Frank exclaims, but with less excitement than when his father did. "It doesn't matter, dad is here now and you are not arguing with him." Frank states, turning to look at his mother. Linda looks annoyed with the whole situation, but I also knew she didn't want to ruin it for her son, so she merely rolled her eyes and left the room.
Frank didn't seem fazed as he pulled his father to the small couch in their living room with me in tow. I shut the door quickly.
"Dad, I am so excited you are here!" Frank chirped. He sat himself and I on the second couch of the room, leaning forward to talk to his father. He really did seem excited, his face was split in two horizontally, cheeks shrinking by the second.
Mr. Iero just chuckled and mumbled something about him being excited too.
"Dad, we can so so many things this weekend! Wait, you are staying the weekend, right?" He cut himself off with a question, furrowing his eyebrows. Mr. Iero smiled.
"Of course I am! I'm staying until Monday night, at a hotel up the street." He replied, running a hand through his hair.
Frank's face changed from excitement to concern. "No way! You paid for a ticket to fly out here, you can't pay a hotel! You can stay here!" Frank offered.
Almost immediately, a snort came from the kitchen. "No he can't!" Linda called out, in her 'no way, frank!' voice. I smirked down at my lap.
I sorta loved Linda.
Frank shuffled uncomfortable in the seat next to me, crossing his legs awkwardly and looking up at his father. Mr. Iero smiled apologetically at his son. "I don't think I can,"
A little 'fuck no, you can't' came from the kitchen and I snorted.
I loved Linda.
Frank gave me his 'Gerard, fucking dumbass, shut up before I punch you in the balls' look and turned back to his dad. I compelled with his wishes.
