I am so sorry, but I might not be able to update at all this week, only on the weekends. I don't get home until five, and then I have chores, homework, etc. However, I promise I will update on the weekend! Next week, I have PSSA's, so I won't have homework, and I might be able to write then.

Tobias P.O.V.

The silence tortures me. I don't know what happened inside, and I can't take the risk of checking it out. It has been silent for a couple of minutes, and I can't bear it any longer. Just as I'm about to move towards the window, I hear shuffling inside. My body goes stiff. I don't know if it is Matthew, coming to say he succeeded, or if it's the soldiers, coming to take Allaya. If it is them, I will fight, I will fight for Allaya.

I stand still, the only noise being both Caleb's and my breathing. I try to keep the heaviness of my breath down, that way it doesn't make noise, but I can't. I'm too anxious. I'm crouching, just under the window, that way I am not visible to whoever is inside.

The window creaks and my heart skips a beat. I squish closer to the wall, hoping not to be seen. Caleb does the same. I can see the look of fear in his eyes as he too waits for what is to come.

I move my head so I can see above me. All I see is the black bars of the fire escape far above me. Then, a face comes into view. My eyes are blurry, I can't keep them focused. The only thing that helps me know who it is is the voice. "There you are."

Tris P.O.V.

They're going for Allaya, just to prove a point to me. All because I wouldn't cooperate with them, because of one choice, Allaya is vulnerable again. One choice. It all goes down to one choice. One choice... becomes a sacrifice.

My eyes are blurry, but I can make out the figure standing next to the bed. He is wearing black, so he must be a soldier.

"Get up." She says. Her voice is deep, which only means one thing. She's the lady that brings me to the bathroom to get cleaned up. I might be able to make a run for it, since it's only her. Her weapon is a regular gun, but she wouldn't shoot me. They need me for the testing.

I don't argue, mainly because I want to take a shower, but also because they will eventually have Allaya, and they will hurt her. I stand up, and let her grab my arm to lead the way. My vision becomes clear again, so I can now see everything.

We go into the first door on the left, the shower room. It's another room that I know about, but I don't consider it a room. The builders didn't put much effort into it, so it's not very elegant like most of the other rooms in this place.

The lady stops, and lets go of my arm. I walk into the room, and hear the door shut behind me. She waits outside, that way I have a little more privacy. I hear the lock click in place, like always.

I walk over to the old shower. There are no walls or anything around me, so I feel bare. I get undressed and stand under the water.

Allaya, Will, Uriah, Tori, Max, all of my friends that I thought were gone, are all alive. And they're in danger. Because of me. And that kills me. It eats away at me, just the thought of it.

I crumple to the floor, and give up.

I fall apart.

I know this chapter is short again, and the characters are acting weird, but it will be back to normal soon. I already have the next chapter planned, and I don't have Track or homework, so I will write again tonight.

Question Time!

1.) Who do you think found Tobias, Caleb, and Allaya?

2.) Do you think Matthew succeeded?

3.) What do you think will happen to Tris?
