#18 Band-Aid

"Jay, are you sure you're okay?" Princeton asked sitting infront of her.

"Yes Prince. I'm fine. " Jay lied in a high pitched tone. Whenever Jay lied, her voice got higher and Princeton knew it.

"Stop playing games. What's the matter?"

Jay sighed. She didn't really want to talk about it but knowing Princeton, he would keep pressing until she told him.

"Me and Ray broke up last night. " Jay admitted sadly. She put her head and stared at the floor.

"Oh no. What happened?" Princeton asked truly concerned.

"He hurt me. Everyday he told me how much he loved me and how much he cared and never wanted to let me go. " Jay pauses for a second to regain her composure. Then she continued. "The next thing you know, I come home and he's in bed with another girl. "

Jay began to weep silently. Princeton got up and sat next to her, rubbing her back for comfort.

"It's okay Jay. He doesn't deserve a girl like you. " Princeton said. "I know he's like my best friend and all but he makes dumb ass decisions."

"But he told me he loved me." Jay cried.

"He just doesn't know what he wants. " Prince said reassuringly. Jay wasn't buying it though.

"Prince you don't understand. He broke my heart. No scratch that, he completed shattered my heart into itty bitty pieces. "

"I know I don't understand. But you'll get over him. I promise. " Prince smiled.

"I'm not so sure about that. "

"I know we're just friends and all, and I know I'm going to sound real cliche but, I've been feeling a certain way about for as long as I can remember." Princeton admitted.

Jay wiped the last of the tears that lingered on her face then looked at Princeton.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"I love you Jay. Not just as a friend. " Princeton said as he held her hands into his and stared into her eyes. "I was just afraid to tell you. "

"But I'm not completely over Ray. I'm crushed. " Jay said tears forming in her eyes.

"I can't begin to understand the way you feel. It might just take a little time for your heart to heal." Princeton said staring deeply into his eyes passion filled the room. "And I know that I can't take away your pain, but I can be your band-aid. "

Jay smiled and cupped Princeton's checks. Right them and there, her lips met his and they shared the most passionate kiss they could.

"CUT!" The director yelled. The alarm buzzed and the camera's stopped rolling. "That's a wrap!"

Jay and Prince got up from their places.

"This movie is going to be awesome. " Jay cheered as she wiped the rest of the false tears from her eyes.

"I know right. The fans will love it. " Princeton smiled.
