#20 Mindless Vampire

Prologue

His short, blondish/brown, curly hair shined in the window as his muscular, caramel complexion arms laid on the table. I looked up at Roc's smiling face as he talked and laughed with his friends Jacob, Craig, and Ray.

They were all brothers. They stuck together and never bothered to conversate or communicate with anyone else in the school. But that's not the weird part about them, they were all "brothers" but were in the same grade. They looked nothing alike. I also noticed how they never go outside for lunch and always wear a hoodie outside when it's sunny no matter how hot it was.

Weird right?

I didn't notice I was staring so hard at him until he and his brothers turned towards me, giving me a weird stare.

"Uh, can I help you with something?" He asked. His deep, dark brown eyes looking into mines having me completely mesmerized. "Hello?"

"Oh, uh. No.... I was just... Uh" I stumbled trying to come up with an excuse. "I have to go. "

I ran off with my tray of food and sat with my usual group of friends. I didn't bother to turn back to them, for I know they were still giving me weird stares and talking about me.

"Ayana, what's the matter?" My bestfriend Torrance asked.

"Nothing. " I answered brushing it off.

I screw up every time.
