Exhale//Matty Healy

//A Change Of Heart//

I sat at the bar and ordered yet another drink. I paid the bartender and he then gave me my drink. I drunk my drink and I felt a little ill. I decided to step outside for a while. A group of about 6 men came outside and they circled around me.

~Matty~
Alex walked out and soon after she did the guys walked into me.

"What the fuck was that about Matty?" George asked me.

"I don't love her anymore. I've just has a change of heart." I explained.

"She really loves you Matty. She is such a great person and you've thrown that away." Ross said to me.

"Dick move." Adam told me.

They all then walked out fo the room.

I picked up my phone and called Stacy. I asked her to come over and she was more then happy to.

It wasn't long after I called her and Stacy was soon here. I invited her in and we then went into my room. We began to kiss and we pulled each others shirts but then I thought about Alex.

~Alex~
"Could you move please?" I asked the men.

They all burst into roars of laughter.

"Look what we have here. A cute little helpless girl." One of the men said getting in my face.

"Fuck off." I spat at him.

"Oh wait we have a feisty one." Another one says.

I pushed one of the men out of my face. That was a big mistake.

A large hand came towards me and grabbed my neck. I was pinned against the wall with no way to escape.

Each of the men took turns in punching or kicking or slapping me.

I tried to get free from the man's grip but it was no use.

Another man came outside. It was the bartender. Help at last!

He then joined with the men.

"You've done a good job guys. Leave her be now. It will soon kick in and then she will be helpless." The bartender said.

The man let go of my neck and the group of them all walked off.

I wondered about what he meant 'it will kick in soon'.

I began to attempt walk home when suddenly I felt my body slowly going numb.

Shit I've been drugged. I have to get home now or god knows what will happen to me.

I tried to walk home but it was getting harder.

My legs were the first things to go. I was then crawling along the empty road. I saw the house in sight but my arms were quickly numbing.

I got to the doorway and managed to knock on the door before my whole body had become numb and I couldn't feel anything anymore.

The door opened and I saw George stood in the doorway.

"What's happened? Are you okay?" He asked.

"Drugged." I mumbled before I blacked out.

~George~
I opened the door and saw Alex lying on the ground.

"What's happened? Are you okay?" I asked her.

She mumbled something along the line of drugged.

"Help." I cried out.

I heard footsteps and Adam and Ross were soon by my side.

I pulled my phone out and called the ambulance service. They said that they would be with us soon. Adam kept checking Alexs pulse and Ross kept checking Alexs breathing.

I saw blue and red lights and an ambulance was soon parked outside of the house.

Alex was wheeled into the back of the ambulance.

"Room for one." The ambulance man told us.

"I'll go with her and you guys meet me at the hospital in the van." I told them.

They nodded and walked over to the van.

I sat in the back of the ambulance and held Alexs hand.

I just hope that everything will be okay.
