The coin flashed a briliant white, filling the entire room with heat. Annabeth shielded her eyes, barely able to see Luke being engulfed by the light and sucked into coin.
Gone for good.
"Glad to see you're back."

"Lord Hades-"
"No!" The god roared. "You will not say anything. All of you-" Hades suddenly stopped talking, amd the atmosphere of the room changed greatly, seemingly losing pressure.
Hades was staring straight into the eyes of his only son, Nico.
And he sighed.
"Fine. I'll let you go. But Nico is staying here."
Everyone looked at each other, slightly shocked. Nico seemed to be thinking about what was in store for him after the others left.
Hades told Nico to step away from the rest of the demigods, as a black light took them away.

Annabeth clutched the coin. The coin that had saved her life, the coin that had taken away someone extremely close to her foor good. Percy was smiling at her sadly genlty messaging her shoulder.
As Annabeth looked around the camp, she couldn't help but think about how glad she was to have such a perfect boyfriend, how glad she was to be alive.
But most of all, she was just glad to be home.
