A Stupid Girl In "Love"

Chapter 3: The Plan

*A/N:sorry, this chapter is pretty long*

Before I fell asleep, I made sure that my plan was perfect. I made sure that he would love me and I would love him. We were perfect together. No, I'm not some kind of Yandere girl, but I know that Oscar still loves me. Before I fell asleep, I called Julia. It rang twice then she answered with,"What's up loser? Isn't it kinda late?" She was right, it was late. I told her my plan.

"Well, if you really want Oscar back..." She started. She said something that I couldn't understand completely, something about how I never had a boyfriend, then she continued. "You have to be yourself. I know that you're stupid, but you have to just be you, but just try to be at least a LITTLE normal, please?" I told her that I would try, but she knows that I'm no where near normal.

After our little conversation, I hung up and fell asleep, I needed to be well rested for tomorrow.
~~~time skip to morning~~~
I woke up late and didn't have much time, so I didn't eat breakfast. I ran to the bus stop and waited with the annoying kid who won't stop saying "hi" to Jon-Michael. Finally, the bus came and I could just sit surrounded by more annoying kids from different bus stops... Greeeeeaaat. Once I got to school, I sat down with Melissa and told her my plan.

"Danah, you're such an idiot. Why do you think this will POSSIBLY work? You guys have barely talked to each other." She said. Melissa had a fair point, but I knew in my heart that he loved me. The bell rang, so I got up and walked to class with Melissa and talked to Julia on the way.
~~~time skip to lunch~~~
It was finally lunch and I could eat my lunchable- oh, wait a minute. I forgot it at home. I guess I could just take Melissa's chocolate.

After eating the chocolate, lunch ended and it was finally time to do the plan. I finally found Oscar and walked behind him. I creeped like a panther up behind him. I got really close to his ear and whispered,"I know you want me." After I said it, I ran as fast as I could to my locker, which I rarely do, to go see my friend. I forgot their name.

She asked me why I was running because I rarely do, so she knew it was something serious. I told her what happened and all she did was laugh and say," No, really, what really happened?" I told her that I was telling the truth but she just turned around and walked away. I guess that's the end of that conversation.

4th period was boring, as always, but 5th period... was also boring. All we did was watch a movie and take notes about killer whales while watching it. Finally, after 2 more classes, the end of the day was near and I could get ready to go home. I got on my bus and, since it was Friday, Melissa rode on the bus with me so that she could spend the night at my house.

When we walked inside we put our stuff down and got ready to walk to Sonic. My mom wasn't home and she doesn't know that we do that, so we just told her that we walk around. Once we were ready, we started leaving when I got a phone call. It was Random Chinese Dude. I cleared my throat in a disgusting way and answered it.

"Hello?" I said. "Hey, this is Danah, right?" "Yup! What do you need?" "I need to ask you for advice." OMG, someone just asked me for advice! I calmly replied," Sure, what's going on?" He told me about how he likes someone, but they have a boyfriend. Once he was done, I realized that he was talking about Julia.

"Listen, dude, you're just gonna have to let her go. There are plenty of other fish in the sea, and neither of them want you either. You're just gonna have to face the fact that no one likes you right now. Maybe later someone will, but not today. Later loser!" Then I hung up. I'm great at giving advice.

We walked to Sonic and got some slushies then walked back home. Melissa told me about her boyfriend and I told Melissa about how my plan totally worked. I am amazing. We kept talking about random things until we got home. We threw our trash away on the way so that my mom doesn't see it when we get home.

While we were walking, Melissa and I were talking about other stuff on our mind so, obviously, I talked about chicken and a dog that passed by. The walk back was about 35 minutes, so we had enough time to talk.

When we walked inside my house, we said hello to my mom and went to my room. Melissa checked snapchat and sat on my bed while I took off my jacket then sat down and checked my phone to see if I got and text messages. Sadly, I got none because I have no friends.

Once we were done doing whatever we were doing, we talked. I told her about how I was getting the feeling that he was too scared to talk to me again because I had walked away before he could reply to what I had said. Melissa told me something that made my day.

"Dude, you know that I have his phone number, right? We have a few classes together, so we had to work on projects together at home so he gave me his number."

"He WHAT?!?!" I almost screeched. I can't believe that my boyfriend and my best friend were cheating on me behind my back with each other. Like, I mean, why else would she have any other reason for keeping his phone number? That's CRAAAAAZY!

"Listen, do you want his phone number or not?" She asked forcefully. "I guess..." I answered doubtful that I could really talk to him without planning it out for a couple days. This night was not going the way that I thought it would.
