Chapter 5: Four

I'm glad I get to work with Tris on this project and plus we have all classes together. She is on her computer doing some research while I'm here just looking at her and how she works. I can't believe I actually started liking her even though we just met this morning. She is different than any other girls I have met in my life and she is special in her own way and unique. I finally decided to get up and look over her shoulder. I say in a whispering voice "What are you looking up?" She jumps like if I startled her and looks into my eyes and says "Just looking up how do the molecules form" "Oh so what did you find?" Then she starts telling me and I listen to her and smile at her because I know she is the one for me. Then I look at the clock and it is 9:00 pm and I tell her that I have to go home so I won't worry my parents. She says "Oh okay I understand, well see you tomorrow at school Four" "See you, and good night Tris" " Good night Four" Tris leads me back to her front door and then I wave good-bye to her and she smiles at me and waves back. I'm glad I got to spent some time with her and get to know her better than I have known any other girl. When I get home my mother says "Tobias where have you been and have you realized it's late at night?" "I know mom and I'm sorry but I had to go over to my friend's house to work on our project" "Tobias look at me in the eyes and I know it wasn't Zeke or Uriah so who were you with?" I look into her eyes and say "Mom I was with my new friend Tris" Then she says "Okay Tobias and go to your room now before your father sees you still up" "Okay and just letting you know that Tris is coming over tomorrow after school to continue working on the project" My mom just nods and leaves to the living room. I enter my room and I lay on my bed thinking about Tris. I am planning how to ask her out and how to make her trust me. All I can think is how she smiled at me and her smile is like no other ordinary smile, Tris's smile is unique and special to me.
