Chapter 16 Date Night.

Jess's pov
I have yet to receive any child support money from Soda. It's been a month since we went to court. I hope he knows that he is playing with fire. I hope he realizes that I'm not playing his games. I swear on everything he's got one more week and if I don't have my child support money by then he's going to jail. It's not that I need the money, I don't need it. It's just nice to have a father support his kid. I plan on putting the money in the bank since I don't need it to actually support Josie. I am going to put it up for her future college fund or maybe a car when she's old enough. I also wish Soda would be a part of Josie's life. I mean he could always sign papers to let Dean adopt Josie, then he wouldn't have to pay child support. I mean we don't need the money, I can put money back myself. It would be nice to have Soda be a part of Josie's life, so she knows who her real father is. I'll talk to him soon and see if he's going to pay or not. I've been sitting here with Josie for the past hour, I'm waiting on Kayla and Dally to come pick her up so Dean and I can go out tonight. I talked them into baby sitting for us, even though Dally hates kids. I think he really likes Josie because all he ever wants to do is hold her. I was getting tired of waiting when I heard them pull up. I took her and put her in the backseat, Dally put the of the convertible up. "Drive safely." "I will, but only when Josie is with me." I smiled then watched as they drove off.
I walked back into the house then Dean escorted me to the car so we could have our date night.
