▽Chapter Two:
~• "Soonnie..." she groaned with a scrunched face as she pulled the covers over her head. She heard a soft chuckle and felt the covers move "Soonnie-ah~..." she groaned again with a sigh as hot breath hit her ear followed by a kiss on her cheek "Come on baby, wake up..." She moaned a little before she answered "Do I have to?...It's our day off can't we stay in bed?..." Jonghyun smirked to himself with a giggle, he was so happy to have her back again he could hardly contain his joy. "No, we can't" "Wae?..." she whined "Because I made breakfast and you're gonna eat it and tell me how much you love it" She opened her eyes to look at him with a glare and he grinned childishly. "Now come eat!" he pecked her lips and rose to his feet. She sat up as he left the room and she huffed before getting dressed.
~• The smell of food hit her nose as she came into the kitchen. She sat down as Jonghyun plopped a plate in front of her, it actually did look good this time. "You've been practicing." She laughed as she took a bite and he sat next to her "Yup, do you like it?" She looked at him with a smile and a nod, as she chewed Roo walked by, tickling her feet. They'd been living together for about two years now and moved into a new house. SoonHee was very hesitant to move in together at first, not because she didn't want to but that she didn't want to take him from his mother and sister. She knew how much he loved them and would feel bad taking him away, but they didn't seem to mind really, they trusted her to love and take care of him and knew he would still come see them. Jonghyun really wanted to move in with her anyways, over the years their relationship grew stronger. They were a lot more stable than they were before and understood each other better, but that doesn't mean they told each other everything, that's still something they were both struggling to do. "I was thinking..." Jonghyun spoke after taking the time to chew his food "Since we have the week off, why don't we go do something?" SoonHee tensed a little but brushed it off as she continued to gather food on her fork "Like?" "Well, it's a nice day today, I'd thought we could go for a walk in town and get some air." Jonghyun looked at her face for a reaction but she didn't give one "You want to go out?" She asked with her eyes still on her plate "Neh, what do you say?" She lifted her eyes a little and bit her lips softly "There's a lot of people out this time of day..." "So?" Jonghyun narrowed his eyes at her a little and she shifted her gaze "Maybe we should just stay inside today?" "SoonHee." Jonghyun dropped his fork and she flinched a little before looking at him. He looked semi-upset as he turned her chair to him "Why are you suddenly afraid to go outside?" She looked surprised "I'm not! I go outside all the time!" "With the girls when you have a schedule. But not with me..." he gave a pouty face as he whined and SoonHee furrowed her eyebrows "It's not like I don't want to Jongie..." He scooted over to her, closing some of the space between them "Then what is it? Talk to me." She sighed and started to fiddle with her fingers "Well, the last time I went out, by myself, I was...attacked...". "Bwoh?!! By who?!!" He went from cute, squishy boyfriend, to rough deadly predator ready to punch someone into next year reeeeal quick. She smirked a little, unable to deny that she really did like his rough side. "Jonghyun I don't-" "No, don't brush it off, who attacked you?" his voice was deep as he kept his eager stare. She sighed "Sasaeng fans ..." His expression changed again, another whole 360 and she kept going "They kinda ambushed me and started punching me. Then I started to run and when they couldn't reach me they started throwing rocks at me instead." Jonghyun could only look at her, the irritation growing in his body "That's how you got that mark on your cheek, isn't it?" He asked and she felt guilty for lying to him "Neh, Roo didn't really scratch me..." She looked down at the puppy who had raised her head at the sound of her name "Mianhae Roo-ah..." Jonghyun turned back to his plate and started eating again but at a faster pace. "Hey, don't eat so fast, you'll get a stomach ache!" she hit his arm and he took a minute to swallow the large amount of food he'd stuffed into his mouth. "Get dressed." he stood up taking his empty plate and her unfinished on, bringing it to the sink "Where are we going? Jonghyun??" SoonHee was starting to feel bad again, she's been feeling bad a lot lately with the abuse from fans, and getting him upset did help much either. "Are you mad because I lied to you?" Jonghyun threw the plates in the sink, still trying to swallow chunks of his food. He walked up to her finally swallowing the last of it "A little. Yes." She frowned and looked away as he took her shoulders "Listen, I know you're scared but you're safe with me. I won't let anything happen to you, and if they're gonna try and attack you again, they're gonna have to hurt me too." He was angry. He was using a soft voice to calm her nerves but she still knew he was angry. She stared up at him as he fumed and then lowered her head with a small nodded "Ok..." She headed to their bedroom to change and he took a seat to calm his nerves. They're attacking her now??! This is crazy. Why can't they just accept us, it's been over a year! He ran his hand through his hair and looked towards their bedroom. His mind starts to wonder about what else she might be keeping from him, how she must feel, how fed up she must be with the constant abuse. It's only a matter of time before she get's up and leaves me. He sighed pulling on the ends of his hair in frustration. She can't leave, she can't! I don't want her to leave. I don't want to lose my kitten.
