The sun had dipped below the
trees,
The blood had stained my skin.
His heartbeat weakened in his
chest,
His breathing much too thin.
My hands combed through his
tangled hair.
All comfort I could grant,
Was one hand on his pretty face,
plus love left in my heart.
His eyes seemed to be drifting
close,
I couldn't let him go.
My shaking hands were shaking
him,
I felt his heartbeat slow.
My screams rose with hysteria,
My voice was much to high.
I started begging him to stay,
His last word was," Goodbye."
