A Lie, A Truth and Pain

This poem is about how sometimes both lies and truths are chased by pain.

******************

A dark diamond lie,

flies beneath the sky.

Throwing back the arrow that pierced it long ago.

But the dim truth flies down low,

and escapes with not a scratch,

not wanting to get attached.

Out of nowhere flies the pain.

Flying roughly through the rain.

both truth and lie begin to fear,

because pain is almost near.

To both, pain is real.

For both, it is hard to heal.
