All I ever loved,
lay before him in the darkness.
The bright hued birds are quiet,
and feign death.
A kiss that brings pain,
a thousand kisses and a thousand sighs.
Abandon all hope,
so swiftly does it vanish.
It is heartrending,
even to feel.
This entire oblivion to all but one thing,
unutterable sorrow.
A dagger in the pocket,
cuts into the living flesh.
The blood spurts,
the sacred spot has become accursed.
May the Devil sieze you,
as a way of escape from every echo.
blended with twilight and daylight,
the heart remains forever darkened.
The heart in ruins,
crumbles into dust.
But, very slight traces remain,
and they hurt nothing more.
