Daniel PoV

My eyes are heavy and my vision is blurry. I could heard an echo. My body feels like it's covered with ice. Im cold....so cold.

A weird shadow walking infront.

It looks familiar...

What is it?

It's so bright and---is that light?
By a blink of an eye, my vision gradually adjust on its surrounding.

The brightness I saw was beam from a light bulb. The sound I heard is a beat from my heart coming from the cardiac machine. The aircondition is the reason why Im cold.

That means.....Im alive.

"Im glad you're awake."

That voice, I recognise that voice it was-

"Dan, how are you?"

The familiar figure I thought was a shadow--it was Ben.

"Why?" I look at him frustrated. "Why didn't you killed me?"

He shook his head. "Papatayin na sana kita pero pinigilan niya ko."

"Tell me, who?"

"Si Lira."

I was shocked by a split second. I could feel tears trying to form in my eyelids. I should be happy about it but-- Im confused. The time I saw her in good grief with Ben, I thought it's the end. All the heart aches I felt and the reality Im trying to escape, I thought it disappeared because atlast Im dead, but here I am still breathing.

I tighten my grip on the bed sheets. "Why?!" My nostrils flared in confusion.

"Isn't she nice?" He tilted his head and crossed his arms. "Hinayaan ka pa niyang mabuhay."

I shook my head and ignored what he have said. "How long since I stayed here?"

"7 weeks." He paused. "Critical ang pagkakatama ko sa chest mo kaya matagal ang recovery mo."

"They agreed to revive me because they want me to send in jail. Right?" I laugh sarcastically.

He sealed his lips trying not to answer my question. Im not fool to realize that Wright.

"I know you're confused at hindi to oras para tanungin kita pero."

"I don't care." I turn my head back on him. "Spit it out."

"We gathered all the evidence that proves you're a suspect." He paused. "One of us saw an anti-psychotic drug in yo-"

"So...you knew it." I interrupted him.

"Mentally-illed ka ba?!"

I left out a sigh as my lips curved in excitement. That made his face annoyed.

"Just tell me DAN!"

"YES!" I said aggressively. "Erotomania..."

"An-ano?" He stammered. "When?"

"The day she rejected me. I was amused by her reaction when I offered her to be my girl. I said it's for my father's will but I lied. Im just trying to test if she's similar to other girls who are drooled over me. After that day, I can't stop thinking about her. I even hired an investigator to get every details I needed to know. I became delusional, I crave every single part of her. All I want is her. Only Lira. " A wide smile formed my face.
