Sorry for the wait. I just added a little more to this chapter but I wanted to move to the next one as soon as, so this is just a small filler.

**Dan POV**

I grinned as I read the message, I knew this was coming soon. It wasn't like I'd purposely lead Phil on or anything, I did genuinely think he was a pretty all right guy.

'Depends...' I replied, and added a wink face at the end of the message.

I ran downstairs to quickly grab a packet of crisps and a drink to take back up with me, before my mum walked into the kitchen.
"You staying upstairs all evening again?" She sighed.
I nodded, "Yep."
"Who are you talking to up there?"
"Phil." I smiled and ran back up. She followed me upstairs.
"Why don't you come downstairs and spend some time with me for a bit?" She sighed.
"Because..I like being alone. And I'm in the middle of an important conversation." I grinned.
"Important? Let me see."
"It's private!" I said protectively.
She frowned and grabbed my phone, unlocking it quickly. I knew I shouldn't have taken the passcode off, she used to go through my phone quite often to see if I'd been talking to any 'bad people', basically drug dealers. She has some kind of obsession of me taking drugs, but it was only one time.
"Mum! Give it back!" I shouted, only making it worse. I tried snatching it from her but it was futile. I looked over her shoulder to see her reading all of our messages. There wasn't much, mainly about our project, except the most recent messages.
"You didn't tell me you were gay, Daniel."
"I didn't say I was." I sighed.
"I have nothing wrong with you being gay."
"Still didn't say I was."
"What are you making the poor boy do for you?"
"I didn't say that either."
"You said it depends." She frowned at me.
"It's nothing!" I sighed and sat down, opening my crisps.

**End of Dan POV**
**Phil POV**

'On what? :c' I texted around an hour later, feeling slightly bad for my late reply, but I had some long distance family over who were annoying as..anything you can think of. They're from a posh part of England, but I didn't quite catch the name as I wasn't really paying attention, and they're the snobbiest people ever. All they really talk about is how good their son is doing in his new grammar school, and how he's predicted higher levels than me already, and he's eleven. The only good thing that comes out of this is that they only visit about once a year.
My parents love them though, they're my mum's cousin and her husband and kids. The kids are okay, I guess. They have this cute southern accent, unlike their parents' snobby one, and they're just adorable. There's Ethan, who's just started his grammar school, and Anna who's only just started school.

I opened my laptop and browsed Facebook for a while, scrolling through the depressive my-life-sucks-because-my-boyfriend-broke-up-with-me statuses and people asking friends to like their statuses for rates. I quickly shut it off after around five seconds of scrolling through and checked my phone to see that Dan had replied.
'If you get drunk with me again. It was so fun last time :)'
I laughed at his slight innocence with the smiley face. 'Sure. Does this mean we're together now?'
'Mm...maybe.'

**End of Phil POV**
**Dan POV**

I smirked as I typed my reply, I did really want to be with Phil, but I thought I'd tease him for a bit first. It wasn't like he was going to reject me any time soon.

Phil wasn't in school the next day, he said he was ill or something, so I had to go sit with the 'gang'. I don't even know why they call themselves a 'gang', all they do is stand around, smoke, and occasionally bully people. Usually Phil. They also asked me a lot of questions about Phil, like why I was hanging around with him. "I already told you, we have to do a project together." I sighed.
Pj shrugged, "Doesn't mean you've got to hang around with him, yeah? Just give him the project to do himself."
I shook my head, "I have to help him with it, he'll do it all wrong probably."
"Oh Dan, you're kind of, like, dumb though." Pj laughed.
I frowned at him, "No I'm not, now pass me a lighter."

A/N: Also, I went to Summer In The City last weekend! It was a great day (I only went for the Saturday because my friend cancelled on me) and I really miss it. I met a lot of Internet friends, it was fabulous! The queues were quite bad though, it took me two hours to get into the place.

Piece of advice if you're going next year (or to vidcon or playlistlive or any other gathering) DON'T spend all your time queuing for youtubers! You will get so much more out of your time by watching panels and performances, and meeting Internet friends or making new ones! You'll queue for hours to spend two seconds with a youtuber, seriously it's much more worthwhile, and in my opinion memorable, to meet your close friends.

Anyway, I'm going to stop talking now. See you guys soon! <3
