A/N: Hello. It's been a year. This is weird.

A lot's happened. I've moved school, changed interests, gotten happier, I'm practically a different person.

I know everybody has probably forgotten about this by now, but I decided to update it anyway, because even a year later I still get comments and messages telling me to update and I feel terrible ignoring them. (But I literally never check Wattpad)

I haven't started writing yet, I'm doing this authors note first, so this'll be really strange as I don't like YouTube much at all anymore.

Anyway, I hope you're all doing good, and I see in my last update I was proud because of 7,000 reads and now this story has over double that, which is absolutely amazing. I honestly don't see why so many of you have read this piece of writing when it's so terrible.

I haven't wrote anything for a while though, so this will probably really suck but I'll try and make it as nice and happy as I can.

Thank you so much for supporting me!

**Dan POV**

A sudden bright light attacked my vision, waking me up, and I whined slightly, opening my eyes to see Phil pulling open the curtains and letting the sunshine in. I looked over to the TV which was still turned on, showing the title screen of Peter Pan, the air still smelt of popcorn.

"Morning, sleepy." Phil said with a smile, walking over to me and brushing my hair out of my face.

I replied with a friendly scowl and squinted my eyes shut again, "It's too bright." I mumbled, barely audibly.

Phil chuckled and pulled the curtains to a close, "Better now?"

I nodded and opened my eyes again, "Perfect."

Once I'd eventually gotten up from the sofa which we'd crashed on the night before, I had a quick shower and got dressed into one of Phil's outfits.

"I need to go." I said quickly, grabbing my bag, remembering how I'd left my mother last night, not telling her where I'd gone.

"Why? What's the sudden rush?" Phil pouted, not wanting me to leave just yet.

"My mum..I'll see you later, okay?" I shot him a quick smile, pecking his lips before rushing out.

I arrived home around ten minutes later as I'd walked pretty briskly. My mum answered the door, her face changing from a blank expression to...relieved, I think.

"Sorry." Was all I mumbled at that moment.

"I understand.." She sighed as I wrapped my arms around her, hugging her tightly.

I nodded in reply, "I was just upset about dad, it's okay."

She took me inside and gave me a small envelope, to which I pulled a confused expression and she gave me the 'open it' look which only happens at Christmas. I cautiously opened the envelope to find a piece of paper inside, with an address written on it.

"It's your fathers. You didn't think he was gone for good, right?" She said.

I read over the writing, his house wasn't too far at all, I could catch a bus there easily.

I smiled, "You should know what I'm like with overreacting." I chuckled slightly. "Thank you..besides, I have something important to tell you, but not until later."

I tucked the paper into my pocket, keeping it safe until I had time to put it somewhere more permanent.

It wasn't until I was tucked up in bed when my mum came upstairs to me.

"So, Daniel, what was the important thing?" She asked, taking a seat at the side of my bed as if she was about to start telling me a bedtime story like when I was a child.

"Oh.." I smiled slightly, I couldn't decide whether this was the perfect time to tell her, or the complete opposite, but I was going to go for it. My throat felt slightly dry and I chewed on the inside of my cheek a little, trying to put some words together in my head to form the sentence of what I was trying to say. "Well..hm..well, last night, I was at my boyfriend's house...Phil, he's my boyfriend." I mumbled quickly, trying to get the sentence over incase I fucked it up, before worrying that she didn't hear and I'd have to repeat myself. But she did.

She chuckled slightly and nodded, "I already knew, Dan. I saw your text, remember?"

I bit my lip, "Oh...yeah, but..still. It's official now." I said, feeling slightly stupid.

She smiled, "All right then, goodnight." She kissed my forehead before standing up and leaving the room. I didn't know what she was thinking.

**Phil POV**

'Did you do it?' I texted Dan as soon as I woke up the next morning. I'd fallen asleep whilst waiting, and I felt pretty bad. He'd told me about his plan shortly after leaving my house and I thought it was really sweet.

'Yes I did.' Was all he replied. I frowned, was he annoyed at me for not staying up?

'And? How'd it go?' I texted back as I bit my lip.

'Really good. She's fine with it, I think. Can I come over later? X'

I sighed happily, he must've just been trying to trick me and then changed his mind. Typical Dan.

'Of course you can. I told my mum too, by the way.'

I was cuddled up with Dan in my bed, kissing his cheek, when he said it.

"I love you."

Even though we'd said it before, it felt more real this time. Like solid, true love, as cheesy as it may sound. But here we were, in my stupid blue and green bedroom, in love.

A/N: I'm not too keen on the ending to this, it's quite rushed but I wasn't really sure what to do with this chapter at all.

Besides, I hope you guys like it and once again, thank you for all your support throughout this story and my other story.

There will be no more updates to anything on my account after this, and I will no longer be using Wattpad, but I will keep my account open so you can still read my stories if you wish.
