A/N: I am so sorry for not updating in almost a month! I've actually been busy for once, I've been on holiday and then a three day long school trip. I've also not been feeling too good mentally. But here we go! It's not the best chapter ever, and I was really stuck for ideas but I just wanted to update. I'll probably change this later when I get rid of my writers block. I can assure you that chapter ten will be much better! <3
Also, thank you so much for 2,000 reads! It means so much to me!

**Phil POV**
Emma agreed to meet up later that day, and decided as it was a fairly sunny day we'd go and hang out in the park. Barely any kids lived around here, and it was kind of an industrial area, so it was completely empty.
"Tell me everything, then!" She grinned as she swung lightly on the swing.
"Well, basically, he goes to my school and were told to work together for a project. We're friends now, I guess." I shrugged.
"Friends?" She smirked.
I nodded, "Really."
"You told me that something happened." She sighed, waving her phone in my face which had my text from earlier on screen.
"Oh, yeah, about that." I started, "We kissed."
"You said you were friends, liar." She laughed.
"We are! He basically experimented on me, kind of. Then again when we were both drunk, it doesn't really count, right?"
She shrugged, "Does for me."
I laughed and swung higher.

**Dan POV**
"Dan, I can smell alcohol in your room!" My mum called from upstairs as I was watching Supernatural on TV.
I sighed, "Yeah?"
She said something which I didn't quite catch, so I paused the TV and went upstairs. My mum picked up the empty vodka bottles from my floor, "Where'd you get these from?" She asked.
"Downstairs." I shrugged.
"It's mine and your fathers."
I shrugged again, "I wanted some." I mumbled.
"You can't just take it from me, that shit's expensive!" She sighed. "Plus you aren't allowed alcohol until you're of age, remember what happened last time?"
I frowned, I hated it when she brought that up. I was out with friends the last time I was drunk, and one of my friends had gotten some weed from somewhere, and we all ended up smoking it. I came home high, and of course my mum found out and it didn't end well.
"But I'm on my own, where am I supposed to get drugs from?!"
She shrugged, "I don't like you drinking anyway, so you're grounded."
"Fucking Hell." I groaned, sitting on my bed.
"Don't curse at me." She murmured, taking the empty bottles downstairs.

~One Week Later~
**Phil POV**
I'd met up with Emma a few times after that, she was quite fun to talk to and sometimes gave good advice. She said she'd be enrolling at my school soon, which would be great. I'd finally have another friend, aside from Dan of course, but he didn't really hang out with me at school much. I explained to Emma all of the people who you shouldn't become friends with, and all of the people who you should stay away from for various reasons. She seemed pretty excited to start a new school, whereas I usually get really anxious. I'd been to three primary schools, and just one high school.
School had been pretty boring that week, Dan went back to hang out with his own friends and didn't mention anything about that night. I phoned Emma as I started to feel slightly lonely after school, Dan said he'd been grounded for drinking, and I felt a little guilty for being there with him.
"Hey Emma!" I said down the phone.
"Hiya, my mum said I should be starting your school next Monday." She said excitedly.
"That's great!"
"Yeah, I can meet Dan." She beamed.
"Mhm, but he's usually with his popular friends." I sighed.
"Oh, really? I thought he was friends with you."
"Well, kind of, but he doesn't really talk to me in school." I mumbled.
"That sucks. Have you asked him out yet?" She giggled.
"What do you mean? I'm not asking him out! He'll say no, obviously, and what about his friends?" I blushed.
"Well, he kissed you twice, remember? And who cares about his friends? It's between you and him!" She wasn't going to give up.
"Hm, I guess..." I started.
"Are you going to ask?" She said quickly.
"You've kind of persuaded me to." I laughed.
"Good, that was my plan! My mum's shouting at me to go eat now, so I'll talk to you later, okay?"
"Okay, bye." I hung up.
For the next twenty minutes, I contemplated whether to ask Dan out or not. Emma was right, he had kissed me twice and I guess I had nothing to lose. It wasn't like I was bothered about rumours or anything any more, I got used to those ages ago. I picked my phone up and danced my fingers on my keyboard, nervous about asking him. Was I really going to do this? "YOLO" I thought ironically, and typed out the question, sending it quickly before closing my eyes.
A/N:
