Chaper 33

Early update

Jc's PoV;

Rachel's gone out to the shop to get eggs for breakfast and I'm lonely without her, I literally can't imagine life without her, I'd be torn. I poured a glass of orange juice and sat on the couch, I turned the music channel on and played on my phone. 20 minutes had passed and Rachel still isn't home, when I say the shop it round the corner I mean literally round the corner so she should have been back 10 minutes ago, I texted her

'Babe, where are you? I'm getting worried :('

and I tired calling twice, my mind started racing, I knew there was something but i couldn't remember what, a couple seconds later and it came to me, Zac! SHIT, I should have gone with her. I ran upstairs to quickly shove shoes on and a jacket, while I was putting my shoes on the door opened and Rachel was crying so wildly.

"RACHEL!" I shouted running out of the room and down the stairs

When I got to the bend on the stairs I saw Rachel curled up in a ball at the doorstep hiding her face

"BABY!, what's happened are you ok?" I shouted running to sit down next to her

she said something but I couldn't understand her because she had her head shoved into her knees

"I can't understand you baby, you gotta look at me" I said gently

she lifted her head up and my full body fell into shock, her eye was bleeding, turning black and her jaw looked broken, she was holding her stomach and I started to cry

"we gotta get you to the hospital baby oh my god, who did this to you? what happened?"

"Zac, he.. punched me and.. pushed me.. down, my ribs hurt Jc help me" she said hardly breathing "I'm scared, I wanna go to the hospital"

I felt my whole body fill with rage, I got really hot and wanted to kill him, but I'm gonna do worse, killing would be too nice, I'm gonna make him suffer, I couldn't even speak, I lifted Rachel up like a baby, walked outside, awkwardly locked the door and took her over to the car, I gently placed her in the front seat where she sat crying holding her ribs, I jumped into the drivers seat and drove as fast as I was aloud to the hospital.

"Here baby have a drink of water" I said handing her a bottle of FiJi

"Thank you baby" she said calming down but I could tell she was still in a lot of pain

"you don't have to be scared baby once we get to the hospital you'll be safe, and Zac will be locked up in prison I assure you" I said placing my hand on her leg gently incase it was sore

"He deserves to rot in jail" she said wiping her tears and placing her hand on top of mine

She so strong, my little inspiration, I love her so much. When we got to the hospital I picked her up like a baby, locked the car and ran inside

"Can someone help us please I need someone to look at her right away" I shouted

to men came racing over to me and I explained what happened, one of the men took Rachel and gave me the room number she was going to be in, the other I went with and he called he police, I gave him all the details of Zac and the police came over hear straight away, two police officers interviewed Rachel and one interviewed me, I explained it so ver similar to the the way Rachel did so Zac was picked up and arrested on the stop, turns out he has done this a few times before and is serving 6 months in jail, after that he is being sent right back home where he came from and told never to return to here again, this made Rachel feel so much better, and me also. I sat with Rachel until she was ready to go home. While the doctors where giving her her last check up I checked my phone which I hadn't done since Rachel came home crying, I had a message from an unknown number

'I told you to keep her safe, now she knows how I feel'

obviously I knew who it was and I thought I'd leave him a nice little message for when he gets out of prison.

'and now you're probably an expert on anal sex, you won't even drop your soap again, I win'

I then blocked his number and did the same on Rachel's phone, so he could never contact us again even if he wanted to.

Rachel could walk ok so she walked herself out to the car, we got in and sat for a bit

"Aw baby your eye, it will heal soon" I said ever so slightly strocking it with my index finger

"Yeah I feel like a bruised banana" she said laughing

"I love how cool you are about this" I said smiling

"Yeah well he's in prison now and he can never come near me again, I don't have to be scared, just sore for a lil while" she said smiling back

I softly kissed her and went to put the keys into the car, she pulled my face back into a longer softer kiss, after about a minute she slowly broke the kiss

"Thank you, for everything you did for me today" she said strocking my face

"You're so welcome, anything for you" I replied

I then drove home, we deceiced to get loads of junk food at the gas station and when we got home order a pizza. We watched a couple comedy movies while we ate then headed for bed for an earlyish night, it's been a looong day.
