"Hey Em!" Callie said walking into my dorm about 15 minutes after our phone call.
Hey Callie," I said as she sat on the sofa.
"Are you ready to go?!" She said a little to excitedly, so I knew this adventure would be something more than a walk downtown.
"Sure..." I said supsiciously. "Just let me grab my purse."
*
"CALLIE!" I cried as she pulled her car into the magic mountain parking lot. Magic mountain was one of my favourite places in the world and she knew that all too well. "I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU!" I screamed.
"Oh, Em." She saidlaughing . "You are going to LOVE this!" She exclaimed, handing me my bathing suit. "Hurry up and change!"
As soon as I finished changing Callie took out her keys and opened the gate leading to the water park.
"Oh, the things I do for you." She said, fake sighing and then winked at me.
"But you love me!" I said giggling like a five year old.
"Yup." She said, walking into the office labeled
'Mr Mountain'
"Hi, Daddy," Callie said skipping towards him.
"Hi, Sweetheart." He said to her. "Are you girls ready for a fun filled day?" He said, sporting his big goofy smile.
"Yes!" I cried nodding vigorously.
"Okay!" He said. "Oh, and Emily,"
"Yes?"
"You guys get the waterpark to yourselves today!"
"WHAT?!" I exclamed excitedly "Yes! This will be the best afternoon ever!" I said.
"You can do anything when you own magic mountain!" Callie said winking.
*
"THAT WAS AWESOME!" I exclaimed getting off the kamikaze for the fifth time.
"Oh, Em." Callie said laughing. "You're so overexcitable!"
"Not my fault I love this place!" I yelled, "It's even better when there's not a bunch of little kids and old men!"
"Well I guess we have to do this more often." Callie said plopping a double floaty into the lazy river. "Let's go!" She cried and pulled me onto the floaty.
*
"Thanks for the great afternoon, Cal." I said as we walked towards her car. We spent the entire afternoon at the waterpark.
"That's what best friends are for, right?" She laughed putting her arm over my shoulder.
"Of course!" I said laughing with her as she let go of my shoulder and hopped in to the drivers side.
"Can I drive?" I asked hopefully.
"I don't think that's such a good idea." She said nervously. "I just got my fulls three weeks ago and you haven't taken the test yet, so that's against the law and-"
"Please?" I said interrupting her.
"Fine." She said. "But just up past the traffic lights. Not past the corner of the police station, because that's where they hide and-"
"Whatever!" I said hopping into the drivers side.
*
"Slow down, Em! You're gonna blow the wheels off my car!" She yelled.
"Sorry! I'm just trying to have fun, you buzz kill!" I said laughing.
"It's not funny!" She cried, "You're gonna get us killed!"
"Just trust me, okay?" I said as I pulled up behind a red Chevy truck at the traffic lights.
"Okay, pull into that alleyway," Callie said as the lights turned green. "No, Em, you missed it..." She said looking back.
"Emily, wait!" She screamed, "Emily, stop!" She said as I laughed and flew down the road, way past the speed limit, loving the freedom.
"Oh, no!" I said as a cop car pulled out from behind a corner, sirens blaring.
"Emily!" Callie yelled and muttered something to the sound of 'irresponsible jerk'
'I'm in so much trouble.' I said as I pulled the car over.
"Callie!" I said and she looked up, "switch seats with me!"
"Uhm, no! I'm not taking the fall for your stupid mistake!" She yelled as I saw the cop in the rear view mirror, walking towards the car with a pad of paper in his hand.
"Look, you're getting in trouble either way!" I said, talking fast.
"I am NOT taking the fall!" She said and turned to face the window.
Next thing I heard was a loud, quick rap on the window.
"Well hello, officer."
A/N: please forget about the part in the first chapter where it said Emily had a car, it wouldn't make sense. Thanks :) Hope you like this chapter, please vote and comment your thoughts :) Also, enjoy the photo of Bonnie Wright as Callie to the side!
