(Next Morning)
{September 18th}
[9:53am]

*ring ring*
"Ugh!" I grown. I grab my phone and see that Jasmin is calling me.

"Hello?" I ask and hearing my manly morning voice.

"Hey! I just got done with class, are you at the coffee house?" She asks.

"Uh, No. I just woke up." I huff.

"Darcy, It's nine fifty-three!" She shouts. I get up fast and hang up.

I grab my light washed high wasted jeans, a random black shirt, and my baby blue baseball hat that says DAD. I make myself a quick coffee and grab my backpack and leave.

"Frick me!" I shout and see I don't have any shoes or socks on.

I get back inside and get on my vans, with two different colored socks. I totally forgot about my contacts, so I just grab my glasses and leave. This day sucks. I basically run to my government class and see that only 7 seats are left. Lucky me I get the last one in the back. I see the time and it's only 10:05.

"Hey, I'm Levi." The guy on my left greets.

"I'm Darcy," I smile. He wasn't bad looking he had dark hair and blue eyes. I put on my glasses and drink my coffee. I look over to see he was still looking at me, "Um Hi again?"

"Sorry, it's just I enjoy looking at a Latina." He winks.

"How do you know that?" I ask.

"My dad used to go to church with your dad. Jorge Escalante?" He says my father's name at that moment I could punch myself.

I feel like I know him. Maybe when I was little? OH YES! Little Levi Ortiz! He was the kid who used to pull my hair.

"Oh my gosh. I remember you, you hated me when we were kids!" I laugh.

"No, you hated me for throwing away your dolls. Wow you grew up well." He says looking me up and down.

It was all coming back now. I think I do remember liking him a little bit. I mean he is really cute even back then.

Sweet Jesus.

"So did you little Levi." I say and class begins.

"I'm Professor Dean. In this class you will be making your own city and making your own government. With rules, laws, and taxes. You will be graded. So pick your partners." Professor Dean explains.

Ugh I have no friends here.

"Dar, how about you and I partner up?" Levi asks and I nod smiling.

"Around six today we can work more on it at my dorm." I say and he nods.

It was only my second day of school and I already had a guy going to my place. Point one for me. Heck yeah.

(End of class.)

"No! Stop I remember that! I was so dumb your dad was so mad!" I laugh as we walk out of class.

"You were so little it didn't matter." He laughs.

"Hey, Dar- Who is this?" Calum asks looking and Levi.

"This is Levi. We were friends when we were kids. Now he is my partner for this assignment." I say standing between them.

"Well I'll see you later Lil DD." He winks giving me a hug.

"Ugh, don't remind me." I say and we laugh as he waves goodbye.

"I don't like him." Calum says as we walk to the Sushi place.
