P.S.THIS IS MY FIRST STORY EVER! PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT IT! :D

I had just come from school and noticed that people had finally moved into the abandoned house next to mine. My house was always empty because my parents were never home. They had some job where they had to travel all over the world. When I was old enough, they bought a house for me and let me live on my own. Occasionally, they would call to check up on me and they always put money in my bank account so that I don't starve. I walked inside my house and trotted in the direction of my bedroom. It was a relatively big house for one person but I loved it. I notuced that there was a shuffling noise coming from inside my room. At first I was like, "It;s probably the housekeeper" but then I realised that the housekeeper didn't work on Mondays. I quickly ran to the next room and grabbed any source of weapon I could find- a knife. I walked to my room and opened the door slowly. I peeped in as soon as the intruder looked in my direction. It was a boy I had never seen before. He was tall-ish and had brown spiky hair. He had blue, sparkly eyes that 'seem to stare right into you'(just kidding). In other words, he was very good-looking! I stalked up to him, "Why are you in my house?" He looked a little nervous but that passed prett quickly. "I'm getting my ball! What do you think I'm doing?" That was when I spotted the pieces if glass all over my bedroom floor and the football. "What did you do!" He smiled as if this was a joke. I seriously did not get the joke. "Are speaking to yourself?" he asked. Was I just talking out loud-danggit! "You come into MY house without MY permission and you're asking ME questions! That is actually a crime. You broke my window and you're trespassing?" "Ok, sorry." After all of that all he ciuld have said was sorry. This boy was really starting to piss me off! "Can you just leave, please before I use this knife!" I threatened him with the knife. "Ok. Whatever." He passed me and walked out of the house. I guess he was probably visiting a relative living on my street since I have never seen him before. I walked downstairs and phoned the company responsible for fixing glass, with the help of my telephone directory. Unfortunately, they could not come until Saturday. I took a shower and decided to go welcome the new neighbours. I love meeting new people and it was probably an old couple that moved next door because the house was really old-fashioned. My mother taught me to never go anywhere empty-handed so I made a basket woth soaps and stuff. I went over and rang the doorbell. A woman, about 49 years ols, opened the door. She definitely wasn't old. "Good afternoon! I just wanted to welcome you to the neighbourhood!" I smiled my sweetest smile. "Thank you so much, dear. What's your name?" I hated my name because it reminded me of my great aunt who passed away. "My name is Katherine but I like people to call me Kat." "Nathan, come here and take the present from the lovely young lady," she called from inside. Nathan, it appears, also happened to be the same person who broke my bedroom window. "You," "You." "It appears that you two know each other already' his mother said.. "Yes. He's the fool who broke my bedroom window and now it won't be fixed until Saturday." Nathan;s mother replied," You can stay woth us honey. It won't be a problem." The last thing I would want was to stay with in the same house as that sorry-excuse-for-a-boy. At least, his mother is nice. " That's okay. I wouldn't want to cause any trouble." "That's ok," she kept saying. This woman was very persistent. I was beginning o get tired of arguing so I agreed to stay with her until it was fixed. I had to go to my house and pack my stuff. She showed me to the guest room. Guess who' room was the closest to mine? You guessed it- that jerk boy, Nathan! To make matters worse, we had to share a bathroom! I don't think that Nathan's mother, Pam, realised that I was a girl.
SOMETIME LATER
I was so tired. I had just finished doing my homework and all I was looking forward to was resting my head on a soft pillow.
