Recap:

"Hey, are you ok? You sound a little breathless." I heard.

"Aidan?" I asked.

~o~o~o~o~o~o~

"Yeah," he said, "You left without saying goodbye." He said, sounding sad.

How could I forget?

Nate moved from ny stomach back to my neck again.Unintentionally, I moaned again.

"Is this a bad time?" Aidan said, nervously.

"Yeah, kinda, bye." I said and hung up really quickly.

"Who was that?" Nate asked.

"Aidan. His family shares the area by the lakehouse with my aunt so we kinda grew up together." I explained.

Nate stopped what he was doing all together and sat up.

"Aidan what? What's his surnmame?" he asked seriously.

"Williams. Why?"

His faced immediately changed to one of anger but then he masked it.

"So you were with him while you and your aunt were bonding?" he asked, in a different tone of voice.

"Well, kinda," I said, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing." he said and got up then left.

What's with him?

I wonder where Mandy went? Do I care? Maybe...

I got up and followed him.

I  caught up to him in the living room.

"Hey, you ok?"

"I'm great. Just fan-freaking-tastic!"

"What's with the attitude?"

"Nothing. I'm going for a drive."

"NO!!!" I yelled out.

"What?"

"You can't go for a drive when you're pissed."

After seeing the music video for "The One That Got Away" by Katy Perry, I got scared. Call me a wuss, but it's true.

"Watch me." he said and walked off.

Only one thing I can do in a situation like this: follow him.

I ran to my house, searched hurriedly for my keys and after finally finding them, I got in my car.

Luckily, he had only reached to the end of the street so I could still see him.

I stayed a good distance away from his car.

Thankfully, he reached back safely. I decided to let him have his privacy.

I went home and decided to sleep. I felt tired.

When I woke up the next morning, Idid the normal morning routine. When I got dressed in my unifrom, I looked around for my car keys but I couldn't find it anywhere. Maybe I left in the ignition, I thought. I walked out to my car and it was there. And so was Nate.

"Hey." I said, cautiously.

"Hey. I'm sorry about yesterday."

"It's okay. Do you want to talk about it?"

"Not really. Do you want to ride with me?"

"Nah. That's fine. I'll take my car."

"Okay, see you at school." he said, getting out the car.
