"A promise is forever, that's what they always say. But welcome to reality, they're broken everyday,"
-Unknown

Bryanna Juliette Cooper

The final bell rang and I couldn't be happier. The whole day went by rather slowly, and training would be my only escape. After Jason walked out I hadn't seen him the whole day. Leo ditched school because it was his sister's birthday, and I didn't have any class with Percy the whole day. As for Luke, well I haven't seen him either.

As I walked out of the classroom, I see Percy waiting for me, as he leaned by the doorframe. "You alright?" He asks and I nod, he offers to hold my books for me, but I decline.

He asks again, "Are you alright?"

I simply nod in response. "What happened to Jason?" I then ask him, he furrows his eyebrows in confusion.

"I haven't seen him since lunch and he went looking for you," Percy shrugs, walking by my side.

"Looking for me?" My voice was raised a bit in shock, when I left neither of them stood up, or followed me.

Percy shrugs again, and continues. "Well, he asked for me to come with him to the clinic for some pain relievers oh and to go back to the cafeteria to buy you ice cream, then he took off to look for you and I haven't seen him since then."

We reached my locker, and I haven't said a word. I guess, it's just hard to take down. Not that it means anything, but I thought he wouldn't care.

After placing my books in my locker, I grab my gym bag and head on over to the field with Percy.

We were greeted by Bryan's squad, except for Jason who was doing a few laps. I looked around to see what everybody else was doing, and then my eyes landed on Jackson and I remember how he ditched me during game night when we were supposed to hang out, and he was going to make up, for what he had done.

Jackson sat by the bleachers, surrounded by girls, his eyes met mine and I shook my head, and he continued laughing and talking with the girls.

I was undeniably hurt, he promised to make it up, he promised. My hurt was soon replaced by anger, and before I could do anything, Coach whistles, signaling the start of training. It was rather unfortunate of me, to forget to change into my training clothes.

I swiftly ran to the locker room and changed as fast as I could and ran back to the field. They were currently by the end of warm-ups and I did them as quickly as I could. Coach blew his whistle and it was time for the laps.

I ran beside Jason, trying to talk to him, with no such luck, he continues on ignoring me. "Jason, come on what's wrong?" I ask him and he runs faster.

I caught up to him and asked, "Jason, please just tell me what is happening to you?"

And would you look at that, he runs faster.

I picked up my pace and was running beside him once again. "Could you please tell me, what the f.uck is going on?" I ask in desperation.

This went on until we were both sprinting, but before I could catch him again, I felt a pang on my ankle. I fall the ground, clutching my ankle, moaning in pain. Jason, comes to a halt and runs back to me.
