"I'm falling to pieces
They say bad things happen for a reason,
But no wise words gonna stop the bleeding,"
-Breakeven, The Script

Bryanna Juliette Cooper

I arrived home in about 30 minutes, screaming at Bryan to hurry up or I'll cut off his crown jewels- down below. This is about my father, of course we have to hurry!

As we reach the front gate, I hopped off the car- not even waiting for the car to fully stop. I ran to the door and burst it open and see my mom sobbing on the couch, with letters scattered all around her.

"Mom," I breathe out. Mom looks up at me with her bloodshot eyes, she breaks into more sobs as I went over to hug her. And just as I hug her, Bryan steps in the house and rushed to our mom's side.

"It's your father. He-he sent you both a letter," she sniffles and dabs her eyes with the tissue. She hands us both a letter.

My eyes scanned the letter--hold on this isn't mine.

My beloved Juliette,
oh how I wish times were different. You know that I'm doing this for the benefit of our kids, I don't know if this will ever end, because at the moment-

"Oops sorry, this is yours, Bryanna," Mom says and snatches the piece of paper from my hand, and I only got to read the last part.

I will always love you, Juliette. One day, we'll be together again.
Love, Your Romeo.

Hold on...Are they together? Or seeing each other?

Pushing the thoughts away, with shaky hands, I grab the note for my mom and read over it.

My beloved daughter, Bryanna,

First of all, I want to apologize to you, I haven't been a father to you lately, I've been such a d.ickhead. Bree, I'm so sorry for keeping it a secret from you, but trust me when the time comes, everything will be explained to you. When the time comes, you'll see why I made you transfer, or maybe why you did not get the position, but only when the time comes.

I do not know how long I have left. Bryanna, please understand how serious this situation is. I would've told you why and not keep you in the dark, if it wouldn't endanger your lives. I PROMISE to tell you after all this, if our situation is over.

The day your mom and I divorced, and we went to New York, you became my reason to achieve more. You are my little bundle of happiness, and my rock. Bree, you do not know how much you mean to me, you're the kind of daughter a mom, dad and sibling, prays and longs for, and I am truly blessed that I have you. I want you to go on and achieve your dreams. Your hard work and determination will not be put to waste, that, I promise you.

Papa will always be here for you, no matter what happens. One day, when this is all over, I pledge to make it up to you, and if not, well I might as well kill myself if I don't make it up to you. I love you, my princess. Please do take care of yourself.

I love you so much, and I am so undeniably proud of you. I'll miss you. Aim for more, and always be down to earth, never let anything get to your head. Always strive to be the best version of yourself.

And Bree? Give Jackson a chance, he has a fragment of this puzzle, and he'll help you. Trust me.

Au revoir, my beloved daughter.
