"Life isn't easy, for those who dream,"
-UnknownBryanna Juliette Cooper
Jackson explained everything the next day. He told me that he did not accept the private scholarship from my Dad, saying that he was willingly doing everything my Dad asked him to do.
Jackson also told me that since he refused the private scholarship, the school gave him a football scholarship, which explains why I didn't get into the line-up.
I still have no idea how I feel, but there is a game today so, I'm pushing all those emotions away.
"How're you feeling?" Bryan asks me, sitting by my side. I just stared at him, with a scared look on my face and he lets out a chuckle.
"Great" I said monotonously, my palms sweating, my heartbeat going faster by the second.
"You'll be amazing, okay?" Bryan reassures me, giving my shoulder a squeeze. I nod without saying anything more, attempting to control my breathing.
Currently, I was in the locker room, trying to calm my nerves down. Why? Simply because Jackson did not show up for the game and, Nathan is nowhere to be seen and Jason is to play his position which leaves me as the quarterback.
And as it all turns out, those poops planned everything just to get me to play, with the very active participation of Coach Nielson, which all leads to me, hyperventilating.
"Hey," Someone spoke up and I jumped 10 feet into the air- okay maybe not but you get the picture. My hands quickly fly over to my chest, my heart beating even faster.
Bryanna, stay calm.
"H-hey, h-hi, jello," I said quickly, turning to see Jason look worried as hell. He took my hands in his and he closed his eyes, taking a deep breath before opening them again.
"You worked hard for this, okay? You'll be amazing, I promise that I won't let anything bad happen to you," He assures me, squeezing my hands twice and I nod, calming down instantly.
What the hell?

With 1 minute left on the clock, I was drenched. The rain heavily poured down, soaking all of us in the process. The opposing team- Cornwall Armadillos- is a difficult team to beat. They had 5 points above us and I am starting to get worried.
If we don't win, Bryanna, you are screwed... no pressure.
Coach Neilson calls for a time out, and I breathed a sigh of relief.
"First, all of you calm down. You are all so tensed and it WILL affect your game play. Second, you are all doing alright, but I want you to give me 101% make the last 60 seconds of this game count. Bryan, you got this," Coach Nielson says and pats Bryan's back.
"Alright, Bryanna you have been absolutely phenomenal with the long passes, but now I want you to do a short pass, they will not expect it. Leo and Luke, be prepared do not let the ball fumble out of your hand. Protect Leo, Luke and Bryanna at all costs, got it?" Bryan stares all of us down and we all nod.
Once on the field, both teams huddled and we all turn to Bryan.
"Alright you know what to do. And like what Coach said, make the last 60 seconds count,"
