"Bree," he called with evil in his voice. "What are you doing!?"

She stood up. "Shane, I'm sick of you and your sick games! Taking innocent children and locking them up and doing things to them. It's sick!"

"You know what, bitch?" He groaned. "It's fun. It's entertaining. I don't want you in the way."

Mason sat back down with his phone in the pocket, getting ready to swallow his pride and call 911.

"Really?" Bree challenged. "What'cha gonna do about it?"

Shane looked angry as he raised his gun. "I don't know."

He pulled the trigger and the most horrible noise Mason ever heard exploded in his ears. He closed his eyes.

And when he opened his eyes, he saw Bree on the floor, with blood coming out of her arm.

The tips of her beautiful blonde hair were red from the blood.

Shane looked at him, his eyes filled with hate. "You little-"

Mason tried to dial 911, but he couldn't do it. Shane walked close to him and sneered at him. "When I'm done with you, you will wish you were never born." Shane mumured.

Mason thought, I already kinda do. But he just swallowed.

"Yo!" A voice interuppted them. They turned around and Lauren was standing there, in only her sports bra and shorts. Her glasses were off and her hair was messed up and her palm and wrists were bleeding. "Leave. Him. Alone!" She demanded.

"I thought I killed you!" He sneered.

"You can't overdose on VITAMINS, you idiot!" She snickered.

He dropped the gun and punched her in the jaw. She groaned in pain as she crawled behind Mason's chair.

Mason jumped up, grabbed the knife, and raised it above his head. "You leave us alone, you bas-"

He didn't remember how it happened, but he and Shane was fighting for the knife. And he was winning.

Then he felt a pain in the side of his stomach. He accidently grazed his side with the blade and there was a huge scratch there,  bleeding.

It was a pain that he was all too familiar with.

    Then, a shot rang out.
