Mason tried to be calm. "Bree, put down the gun."

"Shut the fuck up!" She screeched, almost letting the tears escape. "Or else I'll shoot you right now!"

Mason was freaking out when he saw the pistol, but Lauren just stared at it. It reminded her of when she was eight, and she woke up with her dad on top of her with a rifle pointed at her head everynight for a week.

She imagined she was eight again and she was in bed and her father was the one pointing the gun, but it wasn't. It was a beautiful blonde stranger pointing the gun at her this time.

"Mason," She whispered. "Just do what they say."

He just looked at her funny. "What?"

"Do what they say. If you don't we both die." She said. "Your choice."

Then the car stopped at a small brown house. "Get out." Shane demanded.

Lauren, still in shock, slowly opened the door and got out with Mason tumbling behind her.

   Then, the world was black.
