Two Kinds (My Bella Sequel)

Chapter 2: Meeting

Edward's POV:

"I love you My Bella," I whisper while we lay in bed.

"I love you Edward," She whispers back.

Bella's phone rings. She answers it. While she is on the phone I play with her fingers not really listening to the conversation.

"Nicky is coming over later," Bella says.

"Are you going to be ok?" I ask her.

"I don't have much of a choice," She says looking at the floor.

"Of course you do. You can just tell her you can't today," I insist.

"No Edward I cant," She says sternly.

Bella's POV:

The reason I can't is because she wants to meet about her daughter. Her month old baby. Her and her husband can't support a baby. That's why she wants to meet me.

"Bella what's going on?" Edward ask me.

"Nicky just had a baby and her and her husband can't support her. Their family isn't willing to help out so she wants to meet us. She wants the baby to go to family. Even though she doesn't know us she would just rather have the baby go to family," I explain. He takes a second to process this.

"Of course I want to raise a baby again but can you handle it?" He asks me. I'm silent for a few seconds.

"Yes," I say confidently and sternly.

There is a knock on the door. Before we go downstairs I put the contacts in.

When we get downstairs I don't breath I just move my shoulders to make it look like I'm breathing. Edward rubs my back. Nicky looks a lot like me. Brown hair, chocolate brown eyes, pale skin.

Nicky has the baby in her arms. I take one look at her and instantly fall in love with her. Her big chocolate brown eyes, her chubby little cheeks, her little fingers, her smooth skin, everything is perfect about her.

"Come on in," Carlisle says. Nicky steps inside. Edward and I step forward and shake her hand.

"It's nice to meet you," I say with a smile on my face.

"You too," She says.

"Please sit," Edward says. She takes a seat on the little chair. Edward and I sit in the love seat across from her.

"This is Renesmee," Nicky says while looking at her.

"She's beautiful," I say. Nicky smiles. Edward laughs at something that wasn't said outloud

We talk for a while. Nicky explains that her husband has cancer and they don't have enough money for cancer treatment and a child. After we talk for a good 3 hours she says she has to go. She says her goodbyes to Renesmee with tears streaking down her cheeks.

Just before she walks out the door she says,

"Thank you so much,"

Renesmee is asleep. Edward is holding her. Smiling.

"Can I hold her?" Rose asks. Edward hands her over.

Later in the evening we are sitting in the dimly lit living room. Renesmee is awake. She just looks around the room. She's warm in my arms.

It's just Edward, Renesmee, Esme, and I at the house. Edward begins laughing a little.

"Did anyone else see how much Nicky looked like Bella?" He says while laughing a little.

"I did," Esme says.

"So did I. It looked like she could be my mom more than she could be my sister. She's so young too. Only a few years older than me," I say.

We sit for another hour. Renesmee ducks in and out of sleep. We take turns holding her. Everyone finally gets back.

When they walk in they are smiling. Alice comes up to me and hands me a key. I look at her confused.

"What's this for?" I ask. She doesn't say anything. She just smiles and grabs my arm. Rose takes the baby and Edward and I follow Alice. Edward is smiling.

"I didn't like suprises as a human and I don't like them now," I say as we speed through the woods. Alice stops and covers my eyes with her hands. We take a few more steps then she removes her hands. There's a cottage in front of me.

"Welcome home," Alice says with a huge grin on her face.

"Really?" I ask happily. She nods. Edward takes my hand and we walk in. Its beautiful.
