Chapter 8: Sick

Jacob's POV

When Nessie said that my heart started beating very quickly. I just looked down at her stomach. Her flat stomach that wouldn't be so flat in a few more months.

I pulled her into a tight hug. She wrapped her arms tight around me and began to cry.

"Shhh," I said and stroked her hair.

"I'm not ready to be a mom. I'm to young for this. I'm scared Jake," She sobbed.

"I know Nessi. I know. Its going to be ok. I'm here. It's ok I'm here," I soothed. She sniffled then pulled away. We stood in the kitchen looking out the window when we heard someone walk into the room. We both turned around.

Edward stood in the doorway. I thought about making a run for it but I stood there. He came up to me and gave me a quick hard slap in the face. Then he simply walked out of the room. I rubbed my cheek.

"Sorry about that," Nessie said.

"Eh, I saw it coming."

Renesmee's POV

It's been two weeks since I found out I'm pregnant.

Jake and I are laying on the couch in the morning when I feel something coming up my throat. Quickly, I get up and go to the bathroom were I begin throwing up. Jake follows and holds my hair back and rubs my back.

Once I've brushed my teeth I go back to the couch. Now I get why people always complain about morning sickness. I though maybe since I was half vampire I wouldn't get that. Boy was I wrong. Sometimes I throw up multiple times during the night.

Jake hasn't left my side much since we found out about my pregnancy. I'm greatful I have him.

"Do you need anything?" Alice asks while I'm on the couch.

"Water," I say. When she comes back in the room she sets the water down then sits on the couch with me.

"Are you alright?" She asks.

"Yes," I say and look down at my still flat stomach.

"You look dazed."

"I was just thinking about the baby. He's going to be half wolf, part vampire, and part human."

"A miracle baby. He?" She says.

"That's my guess," I say with a smile. She returnes the smile then leaves Jake and I in the living room.

"You think it's going to be a boy?" Jake asks.

"Yes."

"Half wolf, part vampire, part human. Extraordinary."

"It is," I say slowly. Jake places his hand on my stomach.

"It's interesting to think that there is a baby in there," He says with a smile.

"Not just any baby. A wolf, vampire, human baby." I laugh. He places a kiss on my cheek then gets up and goes to the kitchen.

"Hey," I hear Rose say sweetly.

"Hey."

"How are you holding up?" She asks.

"I'm alright. Sick to my stomach most of the time but I'm alright," I smile.

"You hungry?" She asks.

"I'm always hungry," I laugh.

"Come on," She says and takes my hand pulling me off the couch.

Once we are in the woods we find some deer down by a creek.

Once we've eaten we go back to the house and I start watching T.V. The rest of the family joins me. Jake sits on the floor in front of me and my mom and dad are on either side of me. It's late and my eyes start getting heavy. I force them back open.

"If your tired go to sleep," Jake says. That's when I feel something coming up my throat again. I run to the bathroom.

This time I throw up the deer I had for lunch
