Chapter 6: Truth or Dare

Renesmee's POV:

Its been a few years. Its my 16th birthday today. I don't age but they still celebrate my birthday. Jake and I are close as ever.

"Mom seriously we don't have to celebrate," I say.

"But we want to," She replies. I roll my eyes.

"Here," Dad hands me a box. Carefully, I open it. Inside is a little charm bracelet. I smile and put it on.

A few hours later Jake comes over. We lay on the couch watching a movie while my parents are in their room.

"Happy birthday Nessi," Jake says with a smile.

"Thank you," I reply and return the smile.

Later in the day we go to a lake. Mom told me they go there all the time and no humans can get there because it's to hard to get to.

When we reach the lake I put my stuff down and lay on my towel. Jake plays with my hair.

After swimming for a while I ask,

"Who wants to play truth or dare?"

"ME!" Everyone pretty much screams. We all sit in a circle.

"First we need rules," Carlisle says.

"Why?" I ask.

"If we didn't have rules it would be insane and someone would probably end up in another state without clothes," Emmett laughs.

"Ok rule number one stay in this state. Rule number two you can't be completely clothless. Rule number three be at least somewhat nice to Jacob," Carlise says. He looks at Edward when he says the last rule. I laugh to myself.

"Ok Bella truth or dare?" Alice asks.

"Dare," Mom replies.

"I dare you to dance around the lake," Alice says. I laugh. Mom danced around the lake like and idiot.

"Emmett truth or dare?" Mom asks.

"Dare," Em replies.

"I dare you to go into a neighborhood and run around in your boxers. Then knock on someone's door and ask them how to get to Texas," Mom says. Emmett gives her a dead stare.

When we are in the neighbourhood Emmett runs at a human speed up and down the street. When he comes back he goes up to someone door and knocks. Its a young woman probably in her early 20s. She stares at him in amusment.

"Yeah so I'm a little lost. How do you get to Texas?" Emmett asks being dead serious.

"Um, I would recommend taking a plane there," The woman says.

"No no, I have to walk there so if you could give me directions that would be great."

"I think you've lost your mind," The woman says and slams the door in his face.

When Emmett has his clothes back on we burst into laughter then go back to the lake.

"Ok Rose truth or dare?" Em asks.

"Truth," Rose replies.

"Ok. If you only had one day to live what would you do?" Em asks.

"Easy, spend it with you."

"Alice truth or dare?" Rose asks.

"Truth,"

"Who do you love more, Jasper or Me?" She asks.

"Probably Jaz," She laughs.

"Hey, rude." Rose laughs tho.

"Ok Edward truth or dare?" Alice asks.

"Dare."

"I dare your I kiss Emmett on the cheek," Alice says.

"Ew," Edward and Em say at the same time. Edward quick gives Em a little kiss on the cheek. After that we head back to the house but continue playing.

"Jaz truth or dare?" Edward asks.

"Dare,"

"I dare you to go to a gas station ask the cashier what year it is. When they tell you say 'it worked' then walk out," Edward says.

We go to the gas station and watch from the windows while Jaz goes inside.

"I was wonder if you could tell me the year?" Jaz asks and adds in a fake British accent just for fun.

"2016," the cashier says in a confused tone.

"Holy crap! It worked!" He says and walks out. The cashier just stands there confused. We all laugh.

We are back at the house when Jazz asks me.

"Truth or dare?"

"Dare." I reply.

"I dare you to let Jacob do whatever he wants to you." He raises his eyebrows as he says it. I just nod a little. Dad gives Jaz the death stare.

Jake takes my hand and leads me outside where he kisses me.
