Lana's POV
Letting out a quiet moan as I snuggled deeper into the warm blankets, I felt a masculine arm around my waist making my eyes widen as I tried to move only to be pulled back into a hard chest.
"Don't move" I heard Xander whisper hoarsely making me freeze.
I was still in his arms as I gripped onto the blanket feeling him breath down my neck making me shiver. His lips subtly caressed the back of my neck as he made his way lower, feeling his hands tighten around my waist when a low moan escaped past my lips.
Turning over as he straddled me I felt his soft lips come in contact with my neck as he kissed all the way down until reaching my sweet spot making me moan, as I gripped onto his biceps.
He nipped and licked lower and lower until he reached my chest before stopping and staring deep into my eyes.
"Get up"
My eyes opened only to see Grace looming over me a grin on her face as she greeted me with a hello.
"Finally you're awake" she said smiling as I sat up in my bed rubbing the sleep from my eyes.
I was silently fuming because of the fact that she had woken me from such a surreal dream, but I decided it was best to just put it aside as I gave her questioning look.
"What time is it" I said stretching.
"It's," she looked at my alarm clock" it's 5:00pm" she said making my eyes widen.
I must have slept for a very long time
"So Grace, why are you here?" I said.
"Well, I came to ask you if you wanted to work in the diner, you don't have to if you don't want to-" she asked nervously as she stood up walking towards the door.
"A-Are you serious!?" I exclaimed jumping out of the bed a smile on my face.
"I would love to work at the diner" I said racing towards her bringing her into a bone crushing hug.
"Great" she said smiling as I let her go running a hand through my bed hair.
"So when do I start" I said as I took a seat on my bed.
"Today if you want" she said making my smile grow even more.
"Awesome, let me just get dressed and I'll start" I said as Grace took a step towards the door.
"Ok I'll be downstairs and when you're ready we can go" she said before leaving my room.
I let out a sigh as the smile on my face dropped before I slowly crumbled to the floor, closing my eyes as I had recalled what had happened yesterday.
His hands were so cold, my screams so loud then suddenly it was silent and I was asleep.
I shook my head before standing up walking towards the bathroom to brush my teeth and have my shower.

After my shower I had walked back into my room only to see a uniform on my bed, with a name tag next to it with my name on it. Quickly getting dressed I slipped into my undergarments before wearing the short sleeved burgundy tight dress with two black lines at the side of my body, it had Grace's Diner in white cursive writing on the right side of my breast.
I wore the black apron which I tied around my waist covering the end of my dress, picking up my ankle socks and a pair of black vans I put them on before walking towards the mirror to fix my hair.
I smiled seeing that I wasn't wearing my hoodie anymore as I brushed my hair before I tied it in a high ponytail. I walked out of my room making my way downstairs to the kitchen.
Once I reached the kitchen I noticed there was no one here except Lissa who was washing the plates .
"Hey Lissa" I greeted as I sat down at the island table.
"Oh hello,il mio piccolo fiore" she said cheerfully as she turned around.
"So you're starting work at the diner today?" She said smiling as she dried her hands.
I nodded my head reaching for a shiny green apple that was in the fruit basket on the table. Taking a bite I looked around for Grace only to see that she wasn't here.
"Where's Grace?" I asked before taking another bite of my apple.
"There was an emergency at the diner so she had to leave, but she asked if I could drop you at the diner once you're ready" Lissa said as walked out of the kitchen into the corridor as I followed behind her.
I watched as she grabbed a light cardigan before walking back in o the kitchen again. As I followed behind her I threw away my finished apple inside the bin before leaving the kitchen to head towards the door.
As I opened the door I noticed that the drive way of the house was empty, seeing that there was only one car left.
I walked towards the black jeep opening the door before entering only to see a chauffeur in the front clad in all black with black glasses. The door of the passenger side opened as Lissa entered inside.
"The diner?" The driver said as he reversed before turning and driving out of the long drive way.
Lissa nodded before turning around to me giving me a smile.
"Where is everyone?" I asked.
"They... They had a business to attend to" she hesitated making my eyebrows scrunch in confusion.
"Like a meeting?" I questioned.
"Something like that" she whispered.
"Wait what do you me-"
"Well will you look at that we're here" Lissa said quickly as the car stopped.
"Oh, eh I'll see you later?" I muttered before opening the door and stepping out.
Slamming the door I walked towards the diner seeing a small crowd of boys blocking the entrance. As I drew nearer towards the door a low whistle was heard as one of the men looked me over.
It was only then I noticed that these men were friends of my uncle which sent an unsettling feeling to the pit of my stomach. As I reached the door I squeezed past them before entering the bustling diner, which was full of students who attended my school.
I noticed Grace talking with Xander near by the counter but immediately stopped when she noticed me.She beckoned me over a smile on her face.
As I walked towards them Xander began to walk away making me frown slightly.
"Where's he going?" I asked
"Out, he has something to attend to" Grace said as she walked behind the counter and into the kitchen with me following behind her.
"Like wha-" I began
"Why don't we start?" Grace said cutting me off as she handed me a small note pad and pen.
"Oh, ok then" I said smiling as she sent me off to serve my first ever customer.
