Chapter 38

Xander's POV

"You should have stopped her from going in" Leo scolded me as I paced up and down the hallway.

"Can you fucking not right now, you think I didn't try to stop her" I snapped.

I glared hard at the door waiting patiently for some sort of a sign to go in but there was nothing. My patience was wearing thin at this moment as Lana was still in there with the guy who took advantage of her. He's lucky I haven't snapped his fucking neck yet, the pezzo di merda.

"It seems pretty quiet in there" Theo said annoyed.

"I agree, let's go in-" I said reaching for the door handle.

"Can we not just give them another few minutes, I mean I'm not hearing any screams yet so I'm pretty sure he hasn't told her anything yet-"

I ignored Leo and slammed the door open, barging into the room I was met with the sight of Jaime holding Lana close to him while she had her hand on his chest. It hurt me for a second I'll admit, seeing her so close to the pig, but I couldn't blame her she probably didn't know what he did yet.

"Get your hands off her Jaime" I spat watching him flinch at my voice.

"He was going to tell me who drugged me Xander, so can you just calm down" Lana said walking towards me.

"Really? Jaime is that true. Well then go ahead Jaime, tell Lana who drugged her" I taunted.

I gave him a hard glare daring him to lie straight to her face just to save his own ass, but deep down I knew he wouldn't do it.

"Who did it Jaime?" Lana pressured.

Her sweet voice filled the room calming me down just a little bit while I continued to glare at Jaime.

"Lana just remember, what I told you okay, I didn't want it to happen" he said to her, guilt spread across his face.

"It-it was me.." he paused."I drugged you Lana and believe me I'm so sorry, I wish I could go back in time and change my decision but I can't and I'm sorry-" he said.

"Y-you did this" Lana whispered.

Her broken voice broke my heart and all I wanted to do was bring her into my chest so she could cry.

"You drugged me" her voice cracked.

The sight of her crying made me want to kill Jaime right then and there.

"Lana I am so so sorry, believe me-" Jaime said, attempting to take a few steps towards Lana.

I glared at him even harder now.

Take one more step, I dare you.

"Why" she cried.

Jaime's gaze awkwardly shifted around the room, watching the reaction specifically of me, Leo and Theo.

"It was part of a deal okay, if I- if I drugged you with the drink then I would get to..you know" he paused, guilt flashing in his face.
