Ch. 3: Always A Reason

<~Ross' POV:

I woke up the next morning at 6' o clock. I have to go to set today.



I take a fast shower and brush my teeth before getting dressed.



"Good morning, mom." I say smiling at my mom who was making me breakfast.



"Good morning sweetie." She replied.



I smile back at her, "So where is everyone else?" I ask her.




"They're all asleep. It's only 6:30 in the morning." Mom reminded me.



"Oh yeah." I chuckle.



I eat breakfast and head off to set. I get to see Laura!

I arrived last on set. I wasn't late so that was a good thing.



"Hey Ross, c'mere!" Calum called me over to his dressing room.



I walked over to him and he pulled me in his dressing room.



"What is it?" I ask.



"Laura." He says. I instantly became interested.



"Yeah...what about her?" I ask.



"Your totally in love with her!" Calum exclaims.



I blush, "No-no I'm not."



Calum glares at me and rolls his eyes, "Don't deny it." He warns.


I sigh, "Fine. I sorta like her but I'm not in love with her or anything." I wasn't sure if that was a lie.



Calum nods, "You should talk to her."



"You sound just like my sister." I joke remembering what Rydel told me.



Calum smiles, "Cool cuz your sisters hot." Calum blurts out.



I stare at him my mouth gaped open, "What did you just say?" I ask...did he really just say he likes Delly?



Calum smiles, "Just go talk to Laura." He says pushing me out the door.



I frown. Calum and I will continue this conversation later.

<~Calum's POV:


Holy shit did I really just tell Ross his sisters hot! It just slipped! No one was supposed to find out about that!


Maybe it will be forgotten.

<~Laura's POV:

I looked at myself in the mirror. I usually like what Ally wears but this was not me...


I heard a knock on the door.



Why is someone always bothering me!



I open the door and find Ross. Well I guess I don't mind if he bothers me. Ross is different. Raini just likes to talk and talk and talk about me and Ross.



"Hey Ross." I say.



"Hi Laura, can we talk?" He asked.



I nod, "Yeah. Come in." I say.



He walks in and sits down on the couch.


"What is it?" I asked.



"Well I have something I need to tell you." He begins.



"Yeah..."



"I-I like you...a lot. And I mean a lot a lot." He says.



I feel my heart beat speeding up.



"R-Ross that's really sweet but I don't think it's a very good idea for us to date." I explain to him. It killed me to say it.



"Okay Laura...it's just I don't think it's just a little crush." He says.



I sit down on the couch beside him, "Ross I like you too but if we dated it could ruin Austin and Ally."



He nods, "I know but I'd be willing to take that risk if you were."



I smile at him. Suddenly he begins to lean in. I start leaning in too but then Raini decides to barge in.



"Laur- ohhhhh sorry. I'm just gonna go now, bye!" Raini says quickly and leaves.



She always ruins our moments.



Ross blushes and looks away, "We better get to set."




"Yeah." I agree.



We both stand up and walk to the Sonic Boom set.



I couldn't stop thinking about what Ross told me. I just wish I could tell him how much I love him too.
